I haven't eaten out since the pandemic hit, and I've been on the lookout for a premade vegan option for Indian food. Tasty Bite has been one of my go-to foods, but it never quite tasted like my favorite restaurant, and after a while, it got tiresome. Then I discovered the Loma Linda Tikka Masala and thought I'd hit the jackpot. It's amazing. But the Loma Linda brand only makes 1 flavor of Indian food, so I kept looking to add more variety. I recently ordered this vegan variety pack and so far I'm quite pleased. The Palak had the right hit of spice that I remember (it was only missing the copious amounts of fresh ginger that my favorite restaurant used to add). It wasn't super spicy, but it definitely had a little burn. It gave my husband hiccups (so if you're really sensitive to spice, beware). I paired it with some instant black beans and that was enough to cut the heat for me. I also tried the Achari Aloo which was pretty delicious too, and a bit less spicy than the spinach. I haven't tried the other two flavors yet and I'll update this review if that changes my opinion, but so far I see this as a really good option to add to my ready-made Indian food rotation.

If you like Indian food, these won’t taste the same as visiting an Indian buffet place by any stretch of the imagination. But they are okay when you need a quick lunch - definitely recommend pairing with rice.
