Extremely cost-effective for the features you're getting with excellent an excellent display!
For the longest time I've been looking for reasonably cost-effect monitors to replace my 11(!) year old Samsungs (2x) and settled on this. My reasoning mostly being that 1080p is more than good enough even in the landscape of today for work / gaming usage but wanting that 144hz to reduce screen tearing and for the added smoothness. In general there is little to fault - the 144hz is such a magnificent upgrade coming from 60hz and the IPS panel is vivid with (so far) no light bleeding whatsoever. Also, as Nvidia opened up their GSync system to have FreeSync compatibility (and you have a compatible Nvidia card) you may also find GSync works out of the box! I have unfortunately already gained a dead pixel (black) on one monitor but I'm fairly lucky in that it's actually right at the top-right corner of the screen so at worst it's in my peripheral, but on average I barely even notice it. Fairly straightforwards to mount, though if you plan on doing so you'll have to actually remove the partial-stand already attached (and find somewhere to store it). It takes the standard VESA 100x100 plate which the majority of mounting systems provide anyways! In terms of what's shipped with the box, you get both a UK and EU power cable, alongside an HDMI cable. I knew ahead of time they didn't ship a DisplayPort cable but considering that you can't really reach 144hz without it - it's an absolute waste (so be prepared to buy an additional DP cable). Beyond that, at around £200 (at time of writing) it's probably the best monitor you can get on the market that gives you all these incredible features. Sure it lacks 2K / 4K but as most machines aren't capable of doing that for gaming, and most content put out still isn't reaching 4K anyhow then you'll find that these are more than good enough! Overall - this monitor is fantastic value and I genuinely don't think you'll be disappointed with it. It does exactly what it says on the tin and even throws in some great features you wouldn't find on other monitors at this price point!

A good monitor
UPDATE 2: The dead pixel is... gone! It turns out it wasn't even the monitor, it was STEAM! Specifically it was something to do with one instance of Steamwebhelper. Every time this happens, I kill all instances of Steamwebhelper and it goes away. Back to 5 stars it is :) UPDATE: I have to take back my "no complaints" part - I've only had this monitor for about a month and there's already a dead pixel - and it's not simply one pixel, it's one black pixel with a sort of "pinch" around it, almost as if the screen has been hit with something (and it definitely hasn't). Picture attached (excuse the quality). I have no complaints about this monitor. It does what it says on the tin, and is great quality too, all for a decent price. This is my first time using a 144Hz monitor and man it's so smooth and responsive, no matter how fast I move the mouse I can still see it highlight the things it moves over. In the few games I'm able to play at over 60FPS (thanks GPU shortage), the difference is noticeable and it's a lot easier to see and track moving objects i.e. players, as well as line up my shots. The colours on this monitor are also pretty good. Now I'm not a colour guy, but I can see subtle differences and I can recognise banding, and the only time I ever see (a little) banding is in Steam, which may actually be their fault for not using a perfect gradient rather than the monitors fault. I did notice that it handles blues slightly worse than other colours, and Steam's background is blueish, but again that may be my fault for not configuring properly rather than the monitors fault. Overall this is a really good monitor at a really good price. Buy it.

Great screen
Fantastic screen, set it up to 120Hz and Full HD, works fine and causing much less eye strain than my previous screen. I also like the adjustment options, it goes up/ down; rotates landscape/ portrait and also rotates on its leg so you can change the position without moving it's base. The downside was that it came with 2 power cables, the UK and European plugs respectively, however the cable with the UK plug was not compatible with the connection port on the back of the screen (ain't it crazy huh?!). So I had to order an extra adapter for the European plug cable to fit the UK socket.

Good monitor, but not for the price.
It works fine but it was a pain to get gsync working, they provide you with a standard hdmi cable that doesnt support it. I ended up buying a separate display port cable but it wouldn't let me use 144hz and i had to mess about to get it to work. The monitor has some pretty bad backlight bleed on the corners of the display as well, its noticeable in dark scenes. The colors are pretty crips though and the monitor has a lot of options.

Best budget 144hz monitor!
(Sorry about the camera, couldn't upload via gmail, messenger only) Was doing a lot of research about these best budget 144hz monitors, I had g24c1 aoc in my list, but I saw this one and it had IPS panel which is great (way better colors, viewing angles and stuff) it is not curved, but let me tell you guys, you don't need a curved monitor for 24 inches, especially for FPS games. This ASUS has great speakers as well, very good to watch YouTube, listen to music. In overall - 144hz, IPS panel, speakers, great quality and €220-€230 that's gotta be your choice if you are looking for a 144hz budget monitor!

Very very good monitor
This is a very very good monitor. It has an outstanding IPS panel with very good factory calibration! The 144hz refreshh rate is a treat and the overdrive modes are nice withh no overshoot too! The monitor has freesync which can also be used withh ELMB. Sadly overdrive cannot be usedd or tweaked while ELMB is on. This monitor has nice touches like the cheat crosshairs, FPS counters, Timers and more! Thhe monitors stand may be plastic be it does off height adjust, tilt, pivot and can be turned portrait if needed. If this monitor is out of your price range i casn highly recommend thhe AOC 24G2U or 27G2U.

Great 144Hz Monitor for Overwatch
I'm no expert in monitors and the previous device I was using with my PC prior to this was a 22 inch HDTV. Compared to that, this is amazing. Games look clear and detailed. Text when web browsing is clear also. Screen gets bright enough and in fact most of the time when not gaming I have the blue light filter active set to the max which dims the screen nicely. Haven't had any dead pixels so far. Overwatch at 144hz is amazing! I haven't noticed any motion blur or ghosting and don't even notice screen tearing at that speed and that's without G-Sync/FreeSync active. I'm still messing around with the settings but find the only setting that needed adjusting was the saturation. There are some default display modes (Cinema, Scenery, FPS, etc), I think Cinema is the best and just needed a little tweaking for my personal taste. One ever-so-slight annoyance is when you turn the Blue Light Filter off, the monitor reverts back to the "Racing Mode" which looks awful and have to set it back to my preferred one. REGARDING UK POWER PLUG ISSUE: A lot of people left reviews about the monitor not being supplied with an UK power cable and only had an EU one Mine arrived with both plugs but the UK one had the wrong connector on the end. I already had a spare kettle lead around so was ok but I contacted Amazon to let them know who will be making sure the correct UK cable put in the box since it seems to be added after the box has left the factory that makes the monitors.

Monitor FHD 144Hz
