Getting my embroidery machine is much easier now.
The TOWA handheld digital bobbin case tension gauge not only helps with correcting my bobbin tension on my multi-needle embroidery machine. It also works to correct your top thread tension. The machine turns off on its own after a few minutes of inactivity. This will help extend the battery life.

Excellent tension gauge. Helps me keep my machine working well. High quality and compatible with my multi needle machine. My bobbin fit into the gauge and I was able to get tension easily adjusted.

Great item to have in any embroider's toolbox!
After over 10 years in the embroidery business, I felt it was time to start addressing some of these technical issues that come up from time to time by myself vs. waiting months (yes, MONTHS) for a technician to service my machines. Bobbin tension has always scared me, and the weight thingy included with my embroidery machine to test the bobbin tension might as well be me trying to figure out rocket propulsion. While this tension gauge is more expensive than others, it is SO easy to use for both upper thread and bobbin tension! Just follow the included instructions (or search the internet for videos), and you'll have your tensions perfect in no time! Be sure to get the correct bobbin size insert for the machine(s) you have! This is VERY important to using this with your machine!

Love for bobbin tension
I use this for bobbin tension, loved that I don’t have to guess with this. I’m new to embroidery so this has been very helpful for me. Top tension is a different animal, I need more practice with this thing to get it right.
