Works great!
I've used other products in the past, but found that the rich color faded away within a few days as the teak absorbed the oil. This works great, by contrast. One coat and my table easily absorbed the oil but did not lose its rich color. Made the old table look like new again. Highly recommend!

Real oiled teakwood color and feel, and it is never slippery. even wet.
My dad used this oil on teak decks on an old wooden cabin cruiser. That was a long time ago, I am old, and I have yet to find anything that gives the color and feel of oiled teak like this. many people have asked what i use? this is it. one scrubby clean in the spring and two coats of oil and its show time.

Perfect for teak
Teak steps were weathered grey after 23 years in Florida sun. Applied teak cleaner then multiple coats of Olje. This is a very light oil that quickly soaks deeply into the wood. As it soaks in added another coat until saturated. Looks wonderful and brings back the natural color. Been using this on all my boats. So much better than regular teak oil.

Use this as a solvent for Deks Olje 2
This product works well on weathered teak and walnut on my boat. It especially works well as a solvent for Deks Olje 2 which allows a weathered 2 surface to be made "like new". I have been using this stuff for more than 30 years and highly recommend it. It will work on surfaces that do not have DO 2 and will turn teak from grey to like new, but DO 2 gives weather protection to stand up to salt water.

good product, slow delivery
The product is great but the ordering was not. Order on the 13th, paid $24.24 for priority shipping to have by the 16th. Product arrived on the 22nd. Not good when you held up in the boat yard.

Ich benutze Owatrol Öl D1 und den Lack D2 seit mehreren Jahrzehnten und bin seit der ersten Anwendung völlig überzeugt. Vollständig gesättigt nimmt Holz kein Wasser mehr auf und gammelt nicht, was sich an meinen gekürzten Dachbinder-Überständen seit 20 Jahren bewährt hat. Es eignet sich sogar super für rohe oder abgeschliffene Holzpaddel (da reichten 2-4 Schläge Öl) - diese bleiben griffig und sind gut wassergeschützt. Also: nicht nur für Boote geeignet!
