its a good , loud product without volume control ... worth every penny
pros:nicely constructed, easy to install (read the cons too)all items are packed well and arrived safe, happy for that.sound quality and buttons placement in the holder is neat, kid friendly and looks good once fitted.cons:a. the nut falls off inside once you remove the screw from the main unit and then u need to struggle removing the red light cap and then fix the screw and nut and fit it , took some time to do.b. no volume control, its super loud, had to plaster the speaker a bit to reduce the sound.c. instead of white leds for blue glass / or blue leds, they have put green leds. that looks odd and spoils the show. white leds should cost almost the same, why green???

Sounds like a house alarm has been activated.....high pitch it hurts my ears
I have 2 issues with this product. First, we got it cause we got our daughter a chase paw patrol bike. Since chase is a police officer she kept pretending to "press the police siren button". So, I looked and this product came up as a police siren toy for bike. I saw videos and we decided it was perfect. It came in today and my 3 yr old and I were so excited to see how it worked. First problem, the control of the siren can be attached to the bike very easily BUT the actual siren can not. It just hangs. If the bike has a basket I guess you can put it there otherwise, I had to make use of alot of take to manage to attache it to the bank without it just hanging from it. Next, the "siren" sounds ate more house alarm sounds. Horrible!! They are so high pitch and there us no volume to control how high they sound. It has 3 sounds and 1 of them literally make my ears ring it's so loud. I had to warn my neighbors about the sound so they will not think their house alarm has activated. I do not want to take her outisde with the toy siren because I'm sure all the neighbors will be checking their alarms to see why they have activated when it will judt be my toffler with her toy "siren".I wish you could control the volume of the "sirens" and that they were less pitchy.

Cheaply made product
The light is missing an internal nut so it can't attach to the screw - there are no threads in it, so no way to attach. Anyone else had this problem? How did you attach it? Don't want to return it because grandson loves it otherwise...however, it is loud even for him!UPDATE: 5 stars for customer service! They sent me a new light in exchange for the old light. But still 4 stars for product. Second light was missing a part. Luckily, we could use that part from the first one before sending the rest of it back. Grandson still loves it and with the speaker covered, it is just the right volume for him and the rest of us!

Measure the handlebar (where you feel you're gonna mount it) diameter first.
There is NO volume control, which I'm okay with. My biggest problem was that I'm mounting it on a kid's 16" wheel bike. The handle bar is standard size (about 1" outside diameter). The clamp that holds the lights/siren is TOO SMALL to fit around it (the mounting screw won't "tighten" properly b/c mount is stretched beyond it's diametric limit). So to mount this thing, I had to use the front reflector mount/plate that came with the bike, remove the reflector from it (no big deal, we have LEDs for night rides), drill it out the reflector's mounting plate so it will hold the siren/light portion. I had to cut the siren's original mount into two pieces, discarding the round part, and mating the two small pieces around the new mount. If I was able to use the actual mounting assembly the siren/light part came with, it would have been too "tight" (distance wise) to the handle bar's neck/stem, and interfered with brake cables (see picture). The mount that holds the buttons (to make siren audible), barely fits on the other side of the handle bar stem only because the diameter tapers in a little bit.**Despite the extra work, if it makes my kid smile, it was all worth it.**I see many comments that state, "It's too loud and you can't control the volume. OR There are no instructions. OR I can't put the batteries in correctly, OR it's made cheaply OR it shorted out in the rain."Parents, this is a SIREN, not a mouse fart machine; it's designed to be heard. No instructions? There are two mounts, mount them, battery check, and you're done. Batteries are hard to replace? Remove the white middle strip, remove old batteries, install new batteries, reinstall cover. Cheaply made? You just paid less than $20 to put a smile on your kid's face; that's money well spent (What were you expecting? Industrial grade?). Shorted out in the rain? Yes, that happens to electronics when they get water inside; this isn't a new phenomenon.

Perfect Gift for Police Loving Child
My son loves this! It lights up and makes realistic siren sounds. We attached it to his scooter along with a police badge purchased on Amazon. He enjoys riding around patrolling the neighborhood.

Difficult assembly, poor design
The lights are attached with a bracket that has a screw and a nut. The nut is INSIDE the light. So, when you unscrew to mount it, the nut falls off the screw and into the light and rattles around. I spent an hour taking the light apart, retrieving the nut and trying to put it back together. Finally, we just attached it with a zip tie instead. It's a very poor design. The control panel attached without an issue. This siren is LOUD. Some reviews point out that it's a siren and supposed to be loud. Unless you live in an area devoid of neighbors, this toy will cause problems. We put duct tape over the speaker and it was perfect. Still very loud, but not loud enough to make someone call the actual police on us for disturbing the peace. My kid rode around happily pulling people over, but we really wasted a beautiful afternoon trying to get the thing on. It wasn't worth running it down to the UPS store to return it, so we just made it work. I wouldn't recommend this toy, unless you don't mind getting creative with attaching the lights. Great idea, poor design.
