I could only give two stars because I liked the design of the product. Had no luck making it work couldn’t hook up to phone had a lot of connectivity issues had to return.

I will only buy Kenwood hands-down, the best 10/10

I bought 4 of these cameras. And every one of them has had problems and had to be returned and still having problems with these units. I am buying something else

The professional installer doesn’t have experience using this camera so he wasn’t much help. The manual online is cryptic, tried to print it and it printed about the size of my phone. Worthless. Until I called Kenwood I wasn’t even sure if it was working. He escalated my call higher because I have questions he can’t answer. Very frustrating and if I can’t resolve it I am changing to another brand. My guy offered it this morning, just waiting to hear back from Kenwood. One thing for sure, they need to improve the quick start guide. Terrible.

I am now on my second camera head and 3rd SD card with this system. WiFi connection is too difficult to use and is not stable, disconnects constantly. The main problem is you don't know if or when the camera is recording. It seems as if it destroys the sd cards as it eventually stops recording and I have to replace the card. I use primarily Sandisk 16gb and 256gb cards. I have reformatted the cards on the camera to revive them, but nothing seems to work except a new card. It may be that the camera gets hot and somehow the sd card gets damaged. Regardless, this is aggravating and unreliable. I did have the camera professionally installed.

Do NOT buy this f'ing product. Go buy from reputable brands. Not this garbage. Can't believe I wasted $250 dollars just for it to die in a year.
