I bought a used Dyson and the battery only lasted about 5 min. I installed this one and it has been working great!

This battery fit just as well as the original and it had similar capacity. After ten months the battery is starting to lose it's capacity and I'll have to replace it soon. We use the vacuum 2-3 times per week. I would liked for it to have lasted longer but I didn't have high expectations for a generic battery.

I had originally submitted a poor review of this product because it appeared the battery was only holding a charge for a few seconds after I installed it. After my review was received the company immediately contacted me to offer me a refund or replacement. I appreciate your willingness to work with me on the replacement battery. I decided to further investigate the Dyson vacuum and discovered their was a large clog in the vacuum head that was the problem. I was able to thoroughly clean out the unit and have been able to use the vacuum again with no issues. The new battery I purchased from seems to working correctly now that the clog was removed. I appreciate the company reaching out to stand by their product and would recommend this replacement battery for the Dyson vacuum.

There's no way to contact the manufacturer of this item.The battery installed easily and worked fine until month 10 and died. Amazon recommended I contact the manufacturer - who has a 12 month warranty on this product for a return or exchange. However, there's no way to contact them other than leaving a review.Kunlun - please accept a return of this battery please. I already bought a replacement that costs less than half the price you charge and it works great - we need to use the vacuum every day here.

Initially installed and charged fine. Worked as expected for 10 months. Now, dead as a door nail.Didn’t expect this replacement to last as long as the factory original, but less than a year is ridiculous.EDIT: after posting this review the seller contacted my directly, stated it had a 12 month warranty and then sent a replacement battery.I’m floored. Seller monitored amazon feedback, noticed my dissatisfaction and immediately took corrective action. Seller didn’t prorate cost to e based on battery life - no cost to me at all (and no shipping costs either). Outstanding. I have updated by rating accordingly.

My big dyson vacuum broke, and then I tried to use my backup mini dyson v7. I noticed that the batteries were totally dead, and when they're dead for a while, it gets damaged and irreparable. My bad, u need to keep the batteries charged all the time BUT do not charge if the battery is hot after use, (put palm to check no big deal) AND do NOT use the MAX option for every time u use it. use it on very special occasions (safety) like vacuuming glass. but if u excessively use it on "max" u WILL damage the batteries..... not maybe, batteries get damaged like that. they're not original so make ur money worth it and take care of it.

Good product

Easy to install and had a lot of power for 2 months. It no longer holds a charge a month after the return period ended.Update: customer service contacted me and offered to replace the defective unit. Upgrading to 3 stars.
