Works well with Spectra S2 and Medela PISA
I am fortunate enough to have both the Spectra S2 and Medela Pump in Style Advanced sets to use. The Spectra I use while I am at home, and when I am working away from home, I use the Medela Pump. I love that I can use these on both pumps - saves me time and money! It is very similar to the Spectra S2 duckbill valve, but there are some minor differences; they don't seem to affect performance much, though. Good, snug fit on the flange and works just as well. For the Medela PISA, I was impressed to find that it also fit well. Saves me money here too - would otherwise have to buy the yellow valves and extra membranes separately. My membranes on this pump were about 3 months old and needing replacement. The duckbill valves felt much nicer on this pump than the valve/membrane setup that comes with the Medela pump. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who has either pump for use. Well done!

Works great for spectra pump and more reasonably priced
I had not been on top of replacing my duckbill valves on my spectra pump and my milk supply suffered. These have been wonderful, have a great fit and has been effective in increasing my milk supply. The first time I used them the valves suction was so strong that they did not allow milk to pass through, gently opening them and then restarting the pump was effective in resolving this. I pump for a total of two hours a day and they are holding up well.

Fits Medela hand pump!
These are amazing! They fit my Medela hand pump perfectly!! My output has been noticeably more than when I was using medela membranes. I love how thick the products are they don’t feel cheap made like other off brands products can.

More efficient pumping
These work for the Medela hand pump or the Medela harmony. I thought that I had a decrease in milk production and although I bought replacement membranes, it still wasn’t doing the job and I started to get worried. I ended up stumbling across these and I feel like five minutes into pumping I’m already pumping more efficiently. Highly recommend.

Easier to use than Spectra valves, but they fall off more easily
I got these as spare parts for my Spectra S1 pump. They are wider at the base than the valves that came with the pump, and the surface texture is less slippery, so these are a lot easier to remove for cleaning (and these duckbill valves are delicate, so I'm less likely to damage the NeneSupply ones). However the part that slides onto the flange is shorter than the OEM valves, so the NeneSupply valves don't have as much surface area to grip the flanges, and the valves have a tendency to get loose and slip off when they get wet. Not all the time, but enough of the time that I have to check and make sure the valves are securely on there every time. I have also tried the Medela two-part valve with membrane (they also fit the Spectra), and I think the duckbill valves work much better. I think they allow for a better seal, while with the Medela valves I had to jack up the vacuum on my pump *way up* to get nearly the same suction. So the valve type matters when choosing your pump settings!

Preferable Alternative to the Medela Parts
I took a chance ordering these as an "alternative" to the two piece valves that come standard with the Medela Pump in Style Advanced (PISA) pump after reading a review online. I admit, I was hesitant, but for the price, and a little piece of mind (I constantly loose the little white medela valve covers down the drain when cleaning), it was worth giving these a shot. I've been using these for a little under a week now, and here are my thoughts: 1. I LOVE the simplicity of not having two separate parts to clean. 2. The suction with these are far gentler, yet somehow stronger than the Medela PISA valves. 3. I've been able to reduce my pumping time by almost HALF (which means a great deal to me, since I was pumping for 30 minutes, every 1/2 hour previously) I've NOT noticed a huge change in output, but the time saved really has made the purchase worth it regardless. Some reviewers commented that these don't fit snugly on the Medela parts, however I've yet to encounter this, if anything, they're a wee bit tricky to get off, since they fit so snug. Secondly, I didn't receive any of the valves with the tips open/gaping like several reviewers noted. One thing I would agree with, is that 5 does seem to be an odd number of pieces per package, however upon doing further searching on Amazon, there is a 6-pack option for a dollar more. I've already ordered another pack of these to have on hand, and have tossed all my old Medela valves.

Replaced my spectra’s with these!
I’ve replaced my spectra duckbills with these and could not be happier. ALL the milk funnels into the collection cup, and that means so much coming from a “just-enougher” that leans toward underproducing. Great quality!!

Works great
I use these to replace the plastic valve that medela gives us with their pump parts, and they are honestly way better, and a lot easier to clean. Do not have to replace them ever so often, and at least this comes with 5 of them. This should last you up to a year at least, depending on how much you pump on the daily basis.

Efficient
I got these to replace the regular valves on the Medala, I found that these had far better suction and made pumping fast a lot easier. Would highly recommend trying these out!

Improved suction and cut down pumping time! Works like a dream for spectra!
Works on my spectra like it belonged from the beginning. It actually works better than the original spectra valves. Im extremely pleased with this product - it cut down my pumping time from 15 minutes to 11 minutes to get the same amount of milk. Seriously, the suction is much better with these compared to spectra's original valves. I bought them as just in case spectra ones got misplaced or ripped. I'm so glad spectra's valves got ripped or else I wouldn't have tried these. I hate pumping so I would do anything to cut my pumping time. Love these. Get them!!!

Awful to wash, 2/6 opened after first wash, kotherwise work
I ordered these by mistake without realizing they were not the standard model. Returning wasn’t worth the hassle since i would have to pay the shipping from canada to the states. The reason I wanted to return them was the complexity of washing them. They are smaller than the standard valve, they have inner space in which the flange neck goes (which wouldn’t be a bad thing if you’re not resolved in making sure all is washed and cleaned); and the biggest thing is that they are too narrow and you cannot get your finger inside to wash- that’s how I’ve been doing it with others for months now. I don’t understand how more people in the reviews here said “easy to wash” ?? Maybe they have a dishwasher, idk. To me it was way too much work So anyways might as well use them until other ones arrive. Two of them got opened after the first use, i used that one in the pics and it can be seen there. The positive thing is that they are sturdy and thick and seem to work just fine from what i have seen. Will update in case that changes.
