Exactly what I was looking for improving my Japanese hiragana and katakana writing skills. You can also buy some tracing paper so that you don't keep erasing your pencil's written efforts. I like that the author has done the exercises with her own writing so you feel you're improving your calligraphy using hers for comparison.

I have not had time to study this book at this time but I will state that the book is very well made.
