I needed things for my backpack for work since I work outside a lot. I was absolutely blown away with all the things inside this little black box. I thought for the price the items would be cheap but that is totally not the case at all. I would suggest though if you are hiking you take the knife from the box and put it on your side to lessen the weight if you are using a small pack. The box is small and perfect for a backpack. The knife alone was worth the price of the entire box. Very well made. I am adding a small first aid kit into the box and I am set for the outdoors. You get not one but two fire starters. One is built in to the bracelet. Two compasses also. This was a great deal.

This is awesome! So cool! Let me start with the knife, it can be used on a seatbelt! Meaning, if your belt locks up, you can use it to break free! Very handy in worst case scenarios. The pen is also very cool! While I probably won’t use it to write as my primary pen, if you need to break something you can. It’s tough and what it’s for. The package is very cool and I thought it was amazing when I opened it. I kinda want to go on a survival trip. Just bring this and a fishing pole and see if I can survive for a day or so. :)

This survival kit is great! I had been looking for a new kit to add to my scout backpack when I came across this kit. It has everything I needed and everything was great quality. The price was fair and the waterproof case was a great touch. The whistle is very loud. The emergency blanket indeed traps the warmth. The flint and steel was used to start an actual fire. The compass is about as accurate as my other compasses. And I’m thinking about picking more up for the other Den leaders.

I purchased this for my nephew that lives in Tennessee and likes to go camping. We went through it together and found that everything from the case and to the items are well made. Everything has a nice strong feel to it. This would make a good gift for family or yourself.

This kit includes so many items! I think the ones I like the best are the pen and the flashlight that needs an AA battery which is not included. This kit can easily be split up into a few useful sub-kits for different needs. The plastic case is really useful to hold all the items. The firestarter and paracord bracelet or pretty standard. The pill container would be used to stash different items, I would keep water purification tablets as this kit doesn't really address drinking water. This would make a great gift to anyone.

The items in this kit are much better in quality than you'd expect for the price. The case has foam with pre-molded spots for all of the items, so they always fit and don't roll around loose inside. There is a large fire starter as well as a little one inside the bracelet. There is also a very loud whistle (double). The compass is nicer than these other kids have. Everything in this kit is well made.

This 12-in one survival kits is really nice and has pretty much everything you need in an emergency, there are a few things I would add but this is a great start, very light weight to take with you hiking and very compact to leave in your car and not take up space. Everyone should have one of these in there car for situation that could arise. The tools inside are very well made and durable.
