Good value for the price, but feels very flimsy.
These jumper cables work quite well, be careful with the exposed copper/metal parts though. The saying “you get what you pay for” applies here. They are cheap but they work. In the past I have had jumper cables overheat and melt, higher quality ones and lower quality ones, so having a solid feeling cable is not a guarantee that the cable won’t melt or overheat. The user still has to use good judgement and make sure the connections with the batteries are tight and not moving.In conclusion, these cables have worked for me on multiple occasions for a car that I don’t drive daily

They are, indeed, 12 feet long, and they will jump an average vehicle
I bought these because they were the cheapest option with Prime shipping. They have jumped my SUV 3 times. The extra 4 feet over most other economy cables is nice. These arent going to jump all the things several times every day, but they will do for your safety kit in the back or your vehicle.

Got the job done
I read the other reviews when I purchased these, and decided that I didn't need hardcore heavy duty cables for my little Protege. When my battery died, they fired up my car on the first try.Two weeks later we tried to jump a V8 jeep with these cables and it took about ten minutes of letting the cars sit together before the jeep would start. I don't know the exact physics of this (whether it was the cable or the battery), but when the jeep died again we had better luck with a more intense set of cables.Since the jeep isn't mine, I'm quite happy with this purchase. They're cheap and they'll get my car started in emergencies.Got the job done.

Excellent addition to my snowmobile kit.
I bought this lite duty booster cable to carry in my snowmobile for emergencies and have already used it to get my sled started at -30 last week. It will have a permanent place in my trail kit!
