My mother, being incontinent of bladder & sometimes bowel, had occasional accidents in her recliner. After 4+ years of accidents, the long-term care facility where she lives had to remove & subsequently destroy her recliner. After having purchased a new recliner for her, I knew that I had to try to find some means of protecting it so I began my search on amazon of course. I looked at every protective "waterproof" recliner cover being offered and finally decided on this one for 3 reasons, none of which were price.The most important reason for purchase was that it was waterproof. In the ad it shows the very dry back side of the cover 30 minutes after water is poured on and left in a puddle so purchasing this one was a no-brainer since aother one I looked at advised changing their cover out within 5 minutes to keep the wetness from penetrating.Another reason is in regard to the cover staying on the chair. The silicone paw prints on the back prevent the cover from slipping and sliding around on the chair as does the 2 inch wide adjustable elastic belt which stretches across the back of the chair and secures it in place to prevent the cover from coming off of the chair.The final reason for purchase was ease of care. This cover can be machine washed in cool water and tumble dried in low heat.A final plus, which wasn't a chief criteria for purchase but is a nice plus is that it's very soft to the touch. My mom loves her new chair with these covers. I actually purchased 3 of them in different colors so that there would always be a clean one available when needed. They're easy to put on. The seat of my mom's chair is 23 inches so I ordered the "oversize recliner" cover and it fits great, just tuck any excess in along the sides of the seat. I turned them over and marked the seat, back, footrest, & both arms with a permanent marker to make things a bit easier for the staff at the home.The Director of Nursing Services at the facility where Mom resides said, "Those are the best covers I've ever seen" and wanted to know where I got them. How could anyone ask for a better recommendation than that?

I have an oversized Lazyboy recliner and no other protective cover would fit it except this one. It is perfect. There is plenty of extra length and width so you never have to pull and tug to keep it on nicely. The little rubber spots on the underside hold it in place so there is never any slippage. It stays put and doesn't bunch up. The color is exactly like the picture, the material is very soft, and yes, it has proven to be waterproof after my little grand nephew dropped his orange colored drink on it. I could not be happier with my purchase.

I spent $500 for a leather Euro recliner. The chair wasn't used often and was just for company. After several years the leather started to peel off in flakes. The chair worked great but shedded flakes were unslightly. I later discovered it was bonded leather which is scraps of real leather that is basically shredded into fine peices, mixed with resin, then sprayed on fabric. There are products that can temporarily make the chair presentable. After searching for a replacement chair and ways to repair it, I opted to search for a chair cover and finally found this!This furniture cover is a wonderful! It has a nonslip backing so it doesn't sag after reclining. It covers most of the damaged "leather". It looks great in our living room. I am well pleased with this product. I will be ordering a second one for 2nd Euro recliner that is in our camper.The cover is very inexpensive and nicely made. It has saved me money by not having to replace 2 chairs and extended the life of the current chairs. I definitely recommend these covers.Since I just recieved it, I haven't washed it or spilled anything on it to see how water proofed it is. We don't have pets so it maybe awhile before I wash it. I will update my review if there are any future problems with this cover.

I have a brown "leather" sectional that is peeling horribly due to a defect. Company won't honor the warranty. Was very expensive and not that old,so not ready to replace, so we got these for the extra wide recliner sections to cover the peeling leather. They fit perfectly, but We have to adjust these EVERY SINGLE DAY because despite the nonslip backing, they still fall down when we open and close the recliners. Because the sectional has 'arms' that open for storage, I don't need or like the flaps. We tuck them in between the sections, but I'm thinking of just cutting them off. Not sure what the alternative would be. When we straighten them, you almost don't notice they are there. Haven't washed them yet. Saved us from having to buy a new couch! They are thick, large, and well made. My 2 boxers lay on them daily with no wear or damage showing after months of daily use.

I literally received this chair cover this afternoon. Our main need for a chair cover is to protect it from a Corgi and kitty who sometime like to lay in the chair. The non-slip backing really does "stick" to leather. No slipping or sliding around. I'm not 100% sure of the waterproof feature but that's not what I'm needing it for. I really need it to protect the leather from scratchy dog nails and light dog drool. I think this chair cover will offer those kinds of protection very well. I like it so much I'm probably going to order another one for a leather chair/ottoman in our den as well.

These covers are so nice!! They stay put pretty well, look great, and protect my furniture. And, when I washed them the first time.....they actually look and feel even better.

Supongo que la opinion depende del sillón de cada uno... El mío se ve muy bien, el color quedó perfecto. Mientras no se recline, todo está bien; una vez que lo haces, se mueve y hay que estar acomodándolo.No he tenido la necesidad de probar si es impermeable, pero la calidad se ve bien, al parecer sí lo es.Me hubiera gustado que el elástico para asegurar la cubierta fuera del mismo color que la cubierta y un poco más grande.A mis gatas les gustó, cuando no tenía la cubierta, no se subían al reclinable. Ahora, amanecen las dos allí.

The nice dark brown color matched our recliner perfectly. The surface is soft to the touch and the wide elastic kept the cover, from slipping out of place. I like that it protects my chair from spilled drinks, soup etc.It fits a regular size recliner just fine but I'm not sure about an oversize xlarge chair.

Cubre a la perfeccion el eillon, este es de vinipiel asi que sin la funda seria muy incomodo el sillon, la compra fue acertada

La funda es perfecta solo que el resorte a veces se suelta y te puede pegar en la cara yo se lo elimine
