12V 500 AMP Unversal Winch Solenoid Relay Contactor for HEAVY DUTY UPGRADE ALBRIGHT EQUIV

So far so good.. I'm using this as a plow relay. I have tried 4 or 5 smaller 150amp models and their quality was for naught. So I decided to go this way. Wiring is a little more complex as there are 4 contacts wire positions.. they are basically NO.. When you energize one circuit this closes one set of contacts. When you energize the other set of contacts the first set opens and the second set closes. Not what I expected so only use 1 set of contacts since I would need to have 2 switches to use both sets of contacts. So is it 500amps.. Probably 250 per set of contacts.. So far it's still working unlike the other units I tried. I am 10 snow storms in.

My motorhome jack relay went out for the second time. The dealer wanted over $200 for the part, which is susceptible to water. This relay works great and is less than a quarter of the price.

Great all-in-one unit. I wanted to replace the dual solenoids and the massive box they’re housed in that came with the X-Bull winch. This is small enough to mount inside my bumper next to the winch and still have room for fog lights in front of it (1st Gen Tacoma). The wiring for the X-Bull is different than the diagram that comes with the unit. Some quick poking around with a multimeter and comparing the results to the stock solenoids quickly revealed the proper setup. I have it wired to both an in-cab switch, wireless receiver, and to the wired control. So far, so good. I got this one because it came with boots. They’re extremely tight but they’re on.

This worked great as a replacement for the contactor that came with my Lewmar V700 windlass and at a fraction of the price. I will definitely purchase again if needed.

To wire a Ramsey with a 3 wire motor with terminals A, F1 and F2 Battery Positive to the red dot. Motor cable A to the Black dot F1 and F2 go to the green and blue dot not sure which F1 or F2 go to wich of the green and blue dots but if wired wrong the winch would just run backwards where you could either swap them or swap the black and green solenoid wires. This is very important the blue wire on the solenoid instead of going up to the black dot it needs to go to NEG - ground (other wise you will have a voltage drop to your solenoids. Gave it 4 stars because the instructions did not tell how to wire for a 3 cable motor.

Used to replace exact duplicate on Badlands 12000# electric winch and is suppose to be a direct replacement. Inrush current trips internal relay and winch cuts out.

Follow wiring diagram and should work well. Much better than an old direct switch I had that wire out. I mounted this under hood of atv. Winch worked fine using this instead of old clunky direct switch. I bought a separate switch to use with this.

This is a common style but I was replacing an older style so not an exact swap. No instructions in box. What he'd a video's and figured it out. Works great. No issues with relay.

Dont buy! Malfunctions so bad that it is dangerous! The advertised amperage is a total lie. Bought for my truck winch. This solenoid will stay on when engaged and, cause your winch to run away! This solenoid malfunctions at 70amps with no load on the winch,nevermind 500. Total garbage. Don't waste your money. I reached out to the seller, and they wouldn't refund me for this falsely advertised trash.
