SEZAC Solar Lights Outdoor, Solar Motion Sensor Outdoor Lights, IP65 Waterproof Solar Lights

I live in the boonies, LITERALLY. And these days, people will steal anything the can, so I decided to start installing solar-powered, motion-sensor lights. I have waited awhile to revew these because many of the other types I have ordered have died quickly, didn't put out enough light, or just didn't work well. These have been put to the test, and have stood up to the challenge! I have installed them in most of the dark creepy areas, including the dog yard where they go to potty at night, and they are fabulous! You can adjust the brightness, and the duration of the light (in other words, the amount of time before it shuts back off). The motion sensor is VERY sensitive, and I love that. Critters set them off easily, as do humans. To install, I will say that the double-sided tape didn't want to keep the light where it was supposed to be attached, but temp fluctuations, humidity, and weather had an effect on that. But that is OK. There are also holes where nails or screws can be used. I used the tape and then also simly drove a small nail through the top hole on each one. They stayed put. Easy peasy installation, even for someone like me who is not good at that sort of thing. We have decided that we will be ordering a couple more sets of these becuase we have a lot of areas that could use more illumination!

At less than $3 each these are perfect for my needs. I wanted motion detecting security at my patio, deck, and front sidewalk. These lights provide just the right amount of coverage and light without lighting up the whole yard and the neighbors yard. Their zone of sensitivity to motion is small enough (depending somewhat on how high they are installed) that they do not turn on with every rabbit that passes by or bush that blows in the wind. Mounted at about 7' high they sense motion about 10' away which is perfect for my application. I use the setting that triggers a bright light when motion is detected and then turns off after a few seconds. The light is not so bright as to annoy the neighbors but it is bright enough to be able to see whatever has activated the light. As a test I used on in 'dim mode' and it lasted all night on the battery. They are light sensitive and will turn on at night and off in daylight. They do not have to be in full sun to keep the battery charged - some of mine are under a deck or under a large overhang of the house and they still get enough light to charge the batteries during the day. Easy to install - includes screws and double sided tape for each light.

I bought these lights to illuminate my backyard a bit. There is a giant unmanaged abandoned property behind my house and my neighbors have been acting "wierd" at night that and my backyard is pitch dark with the exception of one other solar powered weather light and some amber ground lights. also critters like to sneak in past my perimeter and chill out at night. so in order to fill the dark spots I figured I would buy 16 of these solar light fixtures. I use to install outside/inside lighting and I did not want to run wires or be too industrious and configure/install a prison style spotlight broadcasting from my roof & I don't like giving the power company more of my hard earned money anyways . Besides solar lights are fun. So a low adequate light solution with solar panels was the route to go for me . I have 4x4 treated fence posts and these things mounted to them without issues. I did end up using decking screws on a few instead of the ones that came with the package " the kits come with mounting tape as well but, i didn't use the tape strips either as these were going outdoors and I just felt like screws were a better route for me to go. once they were up "about 8-9 feet apart and at 7-9 feet up from the ground . I let them charge in the sun in place for about 6 hours. when it was dark they all came on. " I noticed 2 of them did not at first but, after a gentle tap they did. Then I walked around and set them to the same settings low light as a constant then high light when motion was detected. Overall I am quite satisfied with the light output and motion sensing they stayed lit up dusk til dawn. and triggered when a cat ran into the yard basically lighting a path for it to see along the fence. I had no issues and the installation went quick. Now I just to address a few surveillance issues and my backyard should be more secure and observable at nights. I would definitely recommend these

Good product. Arrived very well packaged. Tested to see if it was what I was actually looking for. Worked well and came with adhesive or screw in installation hardware. Hopefully it'll still be working the same way as time passes. Allot of solar products I've bought in the pass just stop working even if you install new Ni-Cad batteries. I does come with a 1 yr warranty I believe. Hopefully it out last the warranty by twice as long. For the price good value if it works for 2-3 yrs. Wishful thinking.

These are exactly what I was looking for! They are bright enough to see, the settings are wonderful, and they stay on until morning, even when they've been brightness activated several times a night. The bright setting is like a lamp going on in a room. Grant you, they are in the sun most of the day, in Florida, but the battery capacity is outstanding! Tip: After reading some of the reviews about rain damaging them, I decided it would literally take me a few minutes to run some silicone caulk around the entire rim of the solar panel at the top, and around the LED light panels at the bottom, to keep any moisture out. Because the back battery panel is so large and may need to be accessed to change the battery, I just ran tape around the back at seams, so water can't leak in, before I put them up. Wires rust, batteries rust if they get too much humidity, let alone wet.... it's a simple and inexpensive precaution to get the longest life out of your outdoor solar batteries, and you can use whatever waterproof outdoor caulk you have on hand for the peace of mind. It torrents every single day in Florida for up to an hour, so the humidity damages everything. It's too much to expect anything to endure that and not get rusty, so protecting them saves a lot of replacement time. The other thing I did was to use a twist tie to attach through the screw hole, so if I have to change them later or move them, I'm not stripping the walls in the house repeatedly. I LOVE these, the brightness level is perfect. You can see, but they aren't blinding. They reminds me of old streetlights... that eerie blue glow. I usually go for yellow lights, my solar path lights are yellow... but after getting these, there's something so old timey about the light they throw, it thrills my heart, and now I can't stay away from my back porch to stare at them, since I put them up! If you are debating, BUY THEM! I have no idea how long they'll last, but after my waterproofing, I think a long time. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

These solar lights are amazing! We had a cloudy day all day today in Southern California and I expected these lights not to work. I have it on Motion Detection Mode. Which is bright. It has not drained the battery. It is now almost midnight and it’s still working. I have 4 spotlights on the other side of the yard and they have all stopped working by 9:30 pm. So, these are really good! I have them on a retaining wall which is about 4 feet high. They’re pretty bright. Kinda bluish tone that makes it feel relaxing. I was looking for solar lights that aren’t too bright but enough to light up the area and these are perfect. Not blinding yet bright enough to illuminate the area. This came in a pack of 6 but I’m using only 4 because it provides enough light. Using all 6 would make the area too bright which i don’t need. When motion is detected, it can be very bright. Very sensitive to motion. One was defective tho. It was “on” before I even took it out of the box and doesn’t turn off at all. Surprisingly, when put on all 3 modes, it does work but the illumination is weak. But when motion is detected, it gets very bright. Amazing for a defective item. I’m not returning the order for one defective light because I am satisfied over all with these solar lights. Update: after 2 days of cloudy weather, these things remained lit until the sun comes up. I got a refund for the defective solar light when I emailed the seller about it. This was a very good transaction and very good product that you will not regret buying.

You know your in trouble when you open an amazon package and there is a card that says "STOP! Call us before leaving a review if there is a problem." We ordered 2 sets of 6 so 12 total lights. So far, 10 work fine although you have to be right on top of them for the motion detection to work. 2 were dead on arrival. It's frustrating because I installed them too thinking it was just because the sun was out and that is why they wouldn't come on when tested. I had to wait until sundown to realize that nope, those two really don't work. I don't know if they were from the same pack or not either as I wasn't paying attention to that. I'm really getting sick of the amazon roulette game with quality, especially with all that is happening. ****Edit 23 Apr 2020- after sitting in direct sunlight for several days, the two that didn't work decided to randomly work so I have changed my rating accordingly. It only went up two stars. A human has to be with 3 ft for the motion to work but it will pick up a leaf from 20 ft away. I can't speculate;ate on longevity yet but you can bet ill be back if one fails before the summer ends.

When I opened the package of 6 lights, I was a little skeptical about their usefulness because they are small . The first day I only put up one of the lights - wanting to make sure I was pleased with my purchase. I was prepared to return them if I was not fully pleased. Well, I was VERY PLEASED. They were exactly what I ordered and performed much better than I expected. Almost too easy to install...I had each one up in less than 10 minutes. Strategically placed, I now have lights that provide lights at night when I need them. Also, they respond to movement so they should detour "expected intruders." There are 3 settings on the lights. I put the light on bright/motion and let it power up. That night I went out to test the light. What I got was instant bright light at the very first movement. The lights do not stay on very long after motion stops - this helps to keep the solar battery powered up. I am VERY pleased with them. So far I have put up 5 of the lights around my house. I can now walk around my house with lights - ONLY when i need them. They were shipped immediately and I received them promptly. I would suggest the SEZAC solar lights to my family and friends. I may purchase some for Birthday presents.

I bought these to light up my pathway to my basement suite. I keep them on motion sensor only so they come on only when needed. They are excellent and bright and easy to install and I still can't believe how reasonable they were.

These lights are amazing, easy to install just needed a little time to properly adjust the brightness to my liking. The only downside is that I wish I had a bigger backyard so I can order more lol
