Essential - Rich Revitalising Nourishing Cream - Dry Skin - 50 ml

Lovely cream been using a month. Skin is clear has better texture and tone. No breakouts and my sensitive skin has been loads better.

Leaves skin with a nice feel.

Great feeling in my skin, it smells great, only drawback it doesm't score that high on the Yuka app.

Having worked in the beauty industry all my life and been used to the best skin care products I have been thrilled to find this lovely rich cream. Won’t use any other now!

This is a lovely facial cream as i have a sensitive and dry skin. It made my skin nice and soft. I started using Avene facial lotions since last year and they been very good for me.

Negative: Scent is way too strong. My skin used to be oily then it changed to dry and now it’s just combination. I went with Shea butter version. I think it's bit too much for my skin. I can definitely feel it on my face. Too heavy and bit greasy. Also I don’t think this cream is suitable for warm months its just too heavy at least for me. Haven’t tried it with makeup, but I’m 100% sure my makeup would just slide off. Positive: Overall it's nice, and you only need small amount so it should last a long time so deffo worth 20£. Final Thoughts: This was a blind buy and won't be buying it again. It's just right not for my skin type and it caused a bit of allergic reaction.

Super clean feeling on the skin, super moisture for all day. The only thing is, that is withnout SP.

I had been using Avene Compensating cream for years before it was reformulated and renamed as “Revitalizing” in (as I remember) 2020. At the time, every single comment I saw complained about its pilling and its getting worse after reformulation. Every single comment wished for the old formulation back. Because Avene Compensating was PERFECT for me, I got very anxious after reading the comments and decided not to purchase the new Revitalizing cream. I jumped around from products to products for the last 2 years (from expensive La Mer cream, Cle de peau La Creme, Lancome soft cream, Amorepacific Time Response to less expensive Clarins Hydra, Embryolisse). Nothing beat Avene Compensating cream. Nothing came close to Avene Compensating cream in terms of giving my easily irritated skin that clear, well moisturized, trouble-free, healthful look. Fast forward to the week of Thanksgiving 2022 after I got back from a Las Vegas trip with terribly dry and dehydrated reddish skin that nothing helped (and I always use sheet masks daily), I decided to give Avene Revitalizing a try. Worst case scenario, I would waste my $40 that I, very likely, would otherwise waste on another non Avene moisturizer. I’m so grateful I gave it a try. I don’t know if Avene listened to its loyal customers and brought the old formulation back, or if they improved the new formulation that pilled, but the Avene Revitalizing cream (I tried both rich and regular versions) did not pill at all for me and as far as I can still remember, Avene Compensating cream felt the same to me. After 2 nights of Avene Revitalizing, my skin is pretty much back to normal now. I think this is the old formulation but I can’t say for sure because it was more than 2 years ago when I last used the cream, but no matter what, if it keeps being what it is now, I will be a customer for life. Please Avene. Don’t change formulation again.

I love the rich and soft texture of this moisturizer. It's helped during the cold winter and keeps my barrier safe during the chill. My skin loves Avene and this product is probably my second favourite of all that I've tried.
