Works great even 50 miles out – easy assembly
I’m about 50 miles from the broadcast towers in Sac, and after mounting it and aiming it properly, I’m getting all major channels clearly, including FOX. Picture quality is solid and the signal has been stable. I’m receiving over 80 OTA channels, including all major networks and a lot of sub-channels.

I'm Impressed with This OTA Antenna
OTA = Over The Air... verses cable, satellite, streaming, etc. I was recently a tech with a very popular satellite TV company. We also installed OTA antennas and often had to struggle to get OTA channels to come in well when the location is 50+ miles away from big city TV broadcast towers. This antenna seems to be a very good one... putting it together might be a bit confusing for some, but so far it seems worth the trouble. Now this product does NOT have a built-in amplifier (but that's one of the reasons I like it). Sure, a built-in amp might draw in a few more channels (or make some a little more clear) but it also means it will need to plug-in to electric power somewhere. I am 45 miles away from several TV towers and this manufacturer recommends trying the antenna indoors before installing it outdoors (which is always smart). I picked up over 40 channels indoors and the picture was perfect on most of them. I haven't installed it outdoors yet and that's the only reason I gave it 3 stars for ease of installation... but I will update this post once I do have it installed. I expect over 100 channels but it's really not about HOW MANY channels you pick-up, it's HOW MANY CHANNELS YOU WANT that you pick up. I happen to know that living outside of Houston TX there are only about 20-30 local stations that I actually want... many of the others are foreign channels or shopping networks that I would never watch. Even the best OTA TV antenna can't help signals much if you are 200+ miles from no where. But so far I am pretty happy with this product. I bought the full-install package that came with the mounting pole, brackets, and 40 feet of cable. I was pleasantly surprised they even included things like "pitch-patch' which are little tar squares to be placed between the roof and the mounting plate screws before it is tightened down. There are even mounting clips (and a few zip ties) to help with running the cable from the antenna to the splitter (which is also included with the mounting kit). The only thing that could make this better is a having a few more specifics on antenna assembly, so you KNOW exactly which antenna sections connect to the others and which end faces which. Also, there were no instructions for the mount kit but other than a wide variety of screws the kit looks fairly simple. * UPDATE* Nearly 5 months later and I am still happy with this OTA Antenna. Nearly every channel is crystal clear high definition. I have had zero problems except for a few occasions, when storms seem to have affected the reception of one or two distant TV stations, but those are far and few between. I'm sure you can buy bigger, better, more expensive antennas... but I still recommend this antenna and am quite happy with it.

A Good Performer HiBand VHF to UHF TV
I am 25 miles from the transmitter complex, with pretty flat terrain in central Iowa. The transmitter antennas are at 1800 feet above ground. All transmitters on on UHF, except Channel 5, which is on Low VHF. This antenna was not designed to do Low-VHF, but I'm close enough that I have decent signals on Channel 5. Construction: Materials a very good and the mechanical design looks fairly rugged. The elements are substantial. However, the entire assembly is secured with Wing Nuts, with no lock washers. There is no way this would last in an outdoor situation with winds/rain/snow in Iowa. It would fall apart , simply from vibration caused by the wind. I plan on using star washers and lock-tight beneath every Wing Nut...a better replacement would be nylock nuts. The video on Amazon was a great help in assembly, I had to refer to it several times. Performance: I tested the antenna mounted 4' above the ground in our Media Room, connected with good RG6/U cable (not the cable that came with it). I scanned for channels and it picked up all the local networks and sub-channels, EVEN Channel 5, which is on low-VHF band. All Channels are on UHF except Channel 5. These are the results: (keep in mind a 14 dB SNR signal is required for a pixellation free picture) 5-1 19 dB (Lo-Band VHF) 8-1 20 dB 11-1 18.6 dB 13-1 21.6 dB 17-1 27 dB 19-1 27 dB 23-1 26 dB 39-1 34 dB 45-1 20 dB Pretty impressive for only 4 feet above ground level, and indoors as well. I only listed the main channels, not every sub-channel. I got < 50 channels in total. Overall Conclusions: Good performance at 25 miles, even on LO-VHF, which it was not designed for. Quality parts used in contruction. Very Poor fasteners of the boom sections, and other connections that were held together with Wing Nuts without lockwashers, or any sort of prevention from vibration backing the wing nuts off. Buy yourself some good RG6/U swept cable (like bulk in Lowe's or other big box stores), I have no confidence in the cable provided. The Boom to Mast Bracket provided is not especially heavy, but it should be ok except in high winds or ice-loading. Overall a good value, and good performance for the frequency range that it was designed for, at least within 25 miles. It would be a good indoor or attic antenna, if you don't need VHF-LO Band, or if you are close enough, even Lo-Band should work (at least down to Channel 5)

nice compact antenna, works great, easy to assemble.
I had a very large rooftop antenna on my roof for 28 years, but when my MeTV provider switched antennas to one with a weaker signal, all I got was pixelation. after installing this I get every local channel perfectly, and discarded my signal booster device. This is a game change for me, and the antenna is actually half the size of the old one. The best 39 bucks I ever spent.

Great antenna
The local channels with my old 80 mile antenna would sometimes go out. This new antenna gets all of them perfectly and a few more I didn't know existed. All the stuff that came with the antenna is good. It was easy to assemble and install. The whole job took less than an hour.

It works great - much better than my previous antenna that was twice as big and cost twice as much. No amplifier needed! Easy to assemble. Now I wouldn't have bothered taking these pictures and I'm not complaining but your product could be perfect if these details are addressed. #1 pic - maybe don't ship the J pole in the same box - a couple elements were dented but were fixable. #2 pic - the wingnuts connecting VHF elements can't be used - maybe just ship with regular nuts

Would have given an overall rating of 5 had the co axial cable been 40 feet as stated in the description and not 21 feet as received. Had to purchase more cable and make another trip up on the roof to complete the installation. The picture quality is very good, picked up 30 plus channels.
