Chocolate Babka Loaf

I bought it for myself. Who doesn't love Chocolate? It was pure heaven! The only thing holding me back from ordering another is the $$. $20.00 for a small loaf of bread??

Delicious cinnamon bread when lightly toasted and buttered. Yes it’s very pricey so won’t be buying often. I suspect shipping is hidden in high price so example of prime membership not being any use.

Very disappointed in the taste & texture. Very dry. Tastes like made with cheap ingredients that weren't the freshest. Was looking for product similar to the Babka Trader Joe's used to stock. 4X price and quality is less than 1star.

This delicious chocolate babka brought back some East Coast memories! It arrived packaged well and once open we devoured almost half. Moist, rich and fresh too with plenty of chocolate woven in. So perfect with coffee or tea or milk, for the kids. A full pound and with delivery we found the price reasonable and a great holiday treat. Would we buy again, yes!

The Babka had a nice cinnamon taste, however it was way too sweet ..I think sometimes, a food can be over-done with sugar to a point that it is almost 'offensive' . I love cinnamon raisin bread and thought this Babka would be good, however I would not reorder. I actually had to throw most of it away unfortunately..it was that bad.

I pick the meal theme for our family's Christmas dinner every year, and after doing so many different countries, I opted for a theme that I knew would please my husband greatly--A Very Seinfeld Christmas was to be had! After scouring the internet for Seinfeld-related foods (trust me, there's a lot), I developed the perfect menu. Most of the food items could be sourced locally, but alas, we have no bakery in the area that could produce my dessert choice, the Chocolate Babka. Verily, I could have purchased a cinnamon babka, but why serve a lesser babka to my family at such an auspicious dinner? To Amazon I turned. I looked at the ratings, I read the reviews; I selected the Sterns Bakery Chocolate Babka. Still, I was not fully confident that this Babka would hold up--a Babka made how many days ago and purchased online? How was I to know how fresh it might taste? What if it's dry and stale? Still, I purchased it. Christmas Day, the feast was amazing; I was glowing. But would dessert ruin the perfect memories of the day? NOT THIS BABKA! It was moist, fresh and though it looked like more chocolate than I could handle, I found the chocolate amount PERFECT. Just chocolatey enough with no need to reach for a gallon of milk. As this was the family's first foray into this Jewish delicacy, I was well pleased. The Sterns Bakery Chocolate Babka was everything I had hoped for.
