What is the mm on this product I need something that’s at least 12mm thickness I can fit inside it ?

Yes you can fit a 12mm thickness inside this trim

Suitable for a 17mm thick coconut mat on wood floor ?

This is for use with vinyl to carpet. So as long as youre using it for the matt to vinyl then it should be OK. If however u are using for matt to wood then it will be at a angle and won't look to good. I would suggest putting a flat bar there that screws into the ground
