Best pole I’ve ownerd
This is the 3rd pole I have purchased for my pool and absolutely feels the sturdiest. It is not ribbed, but has a solid smooth finish so it heads full contact with the lock ring and absolutely locks solid.

12 foot pole is weak and definitely not 12 ft
Zero stars for 12 ft poleI should have read the one star reviews for the 12 ft pole more carefully The pole is not even 12 feet long. Even when measuring all 3 poles individually. Since its a telescopic pole there needs to be overlap. At best this is a 10 ft pole functionallyThere needs to be about 10 inches of overlap to give the pole enough strength. There will always be some flex, but this is to much. You might be fine if you have a 4 ft deep pool but thats about it.

Exceptional pool extension pole
Okay, this was a replacement pole after my original ones died after 30 years.I love the fact that it can extend up into the heavens and it is not heavy at all. There are two different adjustments which make it above and beyond the call of duty while brushing or using a leaf net in my pool.Buy one you won't regret it!
