They reduced the ingredients and raised the price. The formulation used to include DPP-4, which worked in the PH of the small intestine to degrade gluten, and used to cost about $1 a pill. Now the DPP-4 has been removed, leaving only Tolerase G, which only works in the PH of the stomach. And the pills cost $1.50 each. It’s an inferior, costlier product.

Not the least expensive option HOWEVER, this is a GREAT probiotic and it works. The powerful enzymes and probiotics have really helped me get my gut back in order. Although I don’t have a big gluten problem, I can usually tell if what I’ve eaten is going to be a problem and since I started taking these I’ve noticed that a lot less. Overall my stomach feels better and the probiotics keep things moving along so I feel lighter and less Weighed day.

These capsules are standard size and easy to swallow. I did not notice any odd taste or adverse reaction. Contains enzymes for digestive support including foods with gluten. At the time of my review, this was $40 for one bottle. It seems a little pricey compared to other products available. Whether this supplement is effective depends on each individual's situation. As a disclaimer, I can have pretty severe gut/stomach issues because I have a really sensitive system but no allergies, sensitivities, or intolerances to gluten (I’ve been tested). Since this is especially formulated to tackle the protein in gluten, it’s not the regular probiotics or enzymes. It’s specifically for gluten - correction, hidden sources of gluten. That’s very important to remember! With that said, since I don’t always eat a bunch of gluten, and I’m not worried about cross-contamination - I really wanted to test the limits of these enzymes so I ate a little regular pasta which I haven’t done in forever. Again, I know it says on the bottle this is for hidden sources of gluten. This goes back to elementary school and learning how to read properly and not skim over stuff! This definitely was not the best idea but since I know I’m not allergic or gonna die from it, I really wanted to see how well it can work and it really does work. So I will NOT be doing that again because there is a reason why I stay away from regular pasta; it has one of the highest gluten content because most regular pasta is made with semolina durum wheat and is not easy to digest. I said to follow the instructions on the webpage because on the bottle it says to “take with food” but online it says to take15 to 30 minutes before your meal. I think this is super important because it starts the digestion of the pill before you start eating in order to combat any traces of gluten. This is key and when you end up taking it with your meal or right before you eat, it’s not going to work the same way. Since I learned a lesson, it will still work but you’ll have more discomfort before it starts breaking down the gluten. And if you’re not eating gluten but trying to protect against the traces, depending on how reactive you are to gluten, you may notice a difference. That’s why it’s important to take it at least 15 minutes before you start eating, which may be difficult if you’re traveling and you’re not sure exactly when you’re going to eat but at least you know if you take it regardless, it’ll still help rather than chancing it alone. So overall, this really works and I am happy to have it because it does make a difference.
