Halloween: 1 (Esme Novella Trilogy)

Another great story from lizzy ford I really enjoyed this book looking forward to finding out what happens next

Esme is a teenager who lives with her mother who happens to be an angle. They own an animal sanctuary. Esme tries to protect her mother from what has been happening her life but when a masked stranger shows up Esme’s life changes.Oscar and his son Jasper move in the Esme and her mother and began helping with the animals Jasper and Esme form a bond, but Esme is scared he will not want to be her friend for long. When things go from bad to worst at school for Esme Jasper and her mother are there help.Without giving too much away I have to say Loved this book. The story pulls in you in from the start, and makes you feel for Esme, and her all in her life. I cannot wait to see where this story goes!!

Esme is a teen half-angel who is bullied beyond words in her senior year in high school. She’s always been bullied and she’s never had a friend. Then her mom (full-on angel) takes in boarders, with a son Esme’s age, who may finally become a friend. Amongst this is a glorious zoo and Esme’s love and communication with the animals. I bought book 2 immediately. That’s how good it was.

Esme is about a girl named Esme that is half angel who is constantly bullied and lives on a farm with her mom who is an angel. They then get 2 people that end upstaying with them Oscar and Jasper. As Esme and Jasper become close she gets picked on even more by the kids at school. Then on Halloween there is a fire and she begins to suspect that Oscar and Jasper are not what they appear. I have to say that I really liked the story and think that there is a lot of potential. I liked that there was a gay character in the story and liked how the story ended. I eagerly await the next story.

Great story until the end... What end? I hate it when a writer leaves you hanging. I believe Lissy Ford is a great writer, so why does she have to leave a story hanging? Just to sell another book?
