Lifetime Vertical Storage Shed, Desert Sand, Resin Outdoor Tool Shed with Lockable Doors and Weather-Resistant Panels

Good quality. Help needed to assemble. Assembly instructions had some errors.

The Lifetime Vertical Storage Shed is a good shed for outdoor storage. It's decently large and should fit a bunch of yard tools and other supplies. I have some yard chairs and garden tools in there. I'm taking off a star due to specific assembly issues. I'm pretty good with assembling furniture and this project is on the low to mid difficulty scale. It says you need two people, but I was able to do it myself. The items and parts were clearly labeled, which is good. One issue I had was that this shed requires a lot of drilling and screwing into plastic. That alone is problematic, but then there were some parts where you had to screw a metal plate into the plastic in precise locations. I had a few occasions where the holes in the metal plate did not line up with the holes or it did not sit flush against the plastic. In the end, I was able to get it to work, but it was problematic. Also, there were a couple of areas where you had to screw directly into metal. Would have been nice if this could just be pre drilled, but based on this assembly, it would have been difficult to have everything line up properly. My assembled shed is functional and sturdy. The doors don't line up and no matter which configuration I try to shim it, it won't line up. So for me, the doors don't open and close perfectly, but I'm okay with that since I'm only storing tools out there. I didn't bother putting the top and bottom deadbolts for the left door. The shelves are a plus but for some reason, the left shelf is not level despite me drilling the support directly in the pre-marked hole. In the end, it does what I want it to do and seems like it will last a good while.

It is not easy to assemble but it is big enough to store our tools.

We had very specific criteria for a small utility shed for our small backyard / side of our house. This fit the bill perfectly. We have been using it for about 1 month now and could not be more happy with it. It was fairly easy to assemble. The instructions were very clear (do not ignore the recommendation of 2 people for some of the steps). A few points to keep in mind if you decide to get this shed: 1) This is NOT a metal shed - It IS well built; But, if you need the sturdiness of a metal shed, then buy a metal shed. 2) DO NOT over tighten the screws. Anytime screwing into plastic, take care to not tighten past "snug". Again, the instructions are clear. I used a power screwdriver with the slip clutch set on the loosest setting. Then went back through and checked the tightness by hand. A couple steps I did just by hand. 3) As mentioned in the instructions, be sure to put it together on a very flat surface (patio, garage, etc). We put ours together on our patio, then moved it into place after it was assembled. 4) Again, as stated in the instructions, if doors don't line up perfectly after final assembly and placement, fiddle with the corners of the base until they do. We placed ours just on a smooth patch of soil, and needed to tweak the soil and base corners a bit. But the doors open/close perfectly now.

This is a nice, small shed that's pretty easy to assemble and has all of the features that I want. It took me about 3 and a half hours to build it, but I believe that it can be done faster if you have someone to hold certain parts while you put in the screws -- the directions say, in several places, to have another person hold things up while you drill or add screws but I don't have anyone to help me so I used little pieces of good duct tape to hold the parts, which actually works pretty well. I have the she on the back patio, where it's pouring rain now and supposed to snow some tonight, so I made a base from 4x4's and 2x10's so it's not right on the concrete and won't be in the inevitable slush that I get back there in the winter. I'm using the shed for chicken feed and supplies, to make room in my other bigger shed

Worst thing I’ve ever had to build. Didn’t return because of the hassle so just ended up keeping it. Doors are uneven. Had to predrill every hole it seemed. Two of the poles didn’t have holes so we couldn’t put the screws in. We had drilled on the wrong side so we were over it. Both spring locks only have one screw because there are two sized holes which doesn’t make sense because it fits perfectly well in the big one. And they both shift around when trying to lock the door in place. Overall, horrible experience building this thing, making me despise it.

Sturdy . Quality is good, but it is a nightmare to assemble. It takes two strong people and several hours. If I didn’t have to assemble it I would get another one. Not going through that again.

It’s good for the money but assembly is not fun. I don’t mind putting ikea style items together and allot of it was common sense however when it comes to hardware and alignment it’s not all good. I bought this for my cooler and fold out chairs, you know quick grab essentials when I need an extra party chair. Anyways took me a total of 2 & 1/2 hours due to poor instruction layout and like I mentioned things not aligning. I also had to drill a new hole for the bottom spring lock as it was about 1/2 inch off center. I am not keeping expensive item in it so like I mentioned for the $ I guess it’s ok. Probably wouldn’t invest in another shed from this brand.
