Amazing Guillotine Paper Cutter. The 18" size provides ample space to cut various sized paper. It has good weight to it and can cut about 25-30 pieces of paper at once. I love that it has a nice safety rail that you can line your paper with for more precision cutting. The blade is sharp, and the handle has good weight and torque. I would suggest paying a little extra and buying this over the standard budget cutters available. You will definitely get more bang for your buck.

I organize a retreat where I need to make up pocket size agenda cards so that all of the cats are properly herded. After sitting at a table for hours cutting hundreds of these cards up with scissors, I decided a paper cutter was needed. Well... this thing is solid and it cuts super clean. It is overengineered for what I am doing. But... my gosh it is sharp. I have had it for over a year and cut hundreds or thousands of these agenda cards and the thing is as sharp as the day I bought it. It will draw blood if you just casually hit your hand on the blade... and it is that kind of cut that just keeps on bleeding forever! So... be careful around this thing! Guillotine is a good word for it.

Bought this guillotine to see how I liked using it for book binding. Cuts super well through ~30 sheets of paper, unfortunately I need one that cuts more pages than that. It’s fairly light and portable and comes with a plastic safety. Has great grid lines, easy to see, but wish it came with a paper guide so I could have more accuracy. Overall, great for use and comes as advertised.

I love this paper cutter, but it has sliced my hand twice from withdrawing my hand from under the blade area when adjusting alignment. The blade rises very high leaving the sharp knife blade exposed. It really is sharp as a knife. This should never be used by children. The safety shield can be bumped off the cutter. It is needed to hold down the paper. But it would be easy to accidentally remove fingers if they got in the way. Repeat, this uses a sharp blade rather than a squared edge to cut the paper. Carrying it, the safety latch falls down away from the blade. I use a heavy rubber band to secure the latch before moving this cutter. It is not too heavy nor too light. It is a scary device, and much caution should be used. It does make very nice cuts. The guard limits it to 10-15 pages at a time. The accuracy of the back edge is a bit off on both our machines. I use the grid lines as they seem more accurate.

Either the measurements on the board are slightly off or the blade is crooked. I tested multiple sheets of 81/2 x 11 and cut them in half. One half was ALWAYS 1/16 to 1/8 inch bigger. I measured the paper to make sure but it consistently was off. Overall quality of the item seemed decent but precision is required and this is not it. I don't need "kinda close".

A beautiful piece of machinery. The blade is flawlessly calibrated and never a ragged cut or (thanks to the plastic guard) a 'ride up at the end of a cut. Seriously good.

I purchased this paper cutter for one reason. To cut heavy duty commercial plastic vacuum seal bags from a roll. Using scissors is extremely time consuming, tedious, and precarious at best. As it’s virtually impossible to cut them strait. This paper cutter does the job flawlessly and perfectly every time in seconds. Saves me a ton of time and effort. And now allows me to make my bags into any size I want. I haven’t tried paper in it yet but the blade is sharp. It rides on the cutting surface like you’re sharpening a sword and it’s heavy duty and built well. So I have no doubt it will cut paper as advertised. And I’m completely satisfied with the price. I’m confident that this paper cutter is going to last for years.

I've used a few times and it cuts well. Used to cut 12mil magnetic sheet.

everything was great. but the blade is already blunt after daily use for 2 weeks. so i am unable to say that it is value for money. i suppose it can still be useful for light use. but for me, i have already wasted a lot of paper for my stacked cuts. i need to get another to replace this.
