Very solidly made lock. Changing the combination was very easy. Nice long shank for securing my garage door.

This padlock is so nice. The numbers on the front are a great feature when the lock fits the gate tight and you can’t tilt it up to read. Very nice feel when you turn the tumblers. The numbers are very readable too. The button on the bottom is satisfying although random yard people might not know to press it even if they are given the code. Very happy to find this.

Good quality. Big enough numbers to not need glasses. Using it for driveway gate.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is very nicely made and an elegant lock. It is heavy (and I’m sure more secure), but a bit much for a gym lock. Too bad, as the design and execution are both great. This sits in a drawer and never gets used due to the weight.

Much sturdier feeling that the 40mm, which felt a bit like plastic crap.

very disappointed with this lock. Have other squire long shank locks that I have used outside with no issues. I thought I would step it up and get a better grade lock BUT after about a week of use it would not open. It was in the locked position and the combination was set correctly but it would not open. I had to have a helper to hold it so I could sawzall the hasp to remove the lock.....and it took a while because the steel was very tough as I expected. So hardly any use had to cut it off and wasted my money

This is a solid lock, but it has two odd features. One is that you must push a button for the lock to open after the combination is dialed in. Not that big of a deal, but it is one more thing to tell others if you give them the combination. The second is that it has a small Phillips head screw on top which is involved in setting the combination. The instructions say to screw it in tightly after setting the combination. If you do this, the lock will not close. You must loosen that screw for the lock to work. And I recommend using ample lubrication to the lock because mine was super sticky. Mine also appeared to have been a returned item so maybe I had a lemon, but other than what I have written it actually is a pretty decent product.

Long search for a quality combination lock finally surfaced this one. It is made in the UK with a long history of quality materials for maximum strength and security. Any lock can be broken, but this one has added lots of deterrents -- hardened shackle, double locking, a unique button to open, etc. Love it.

Au cours des six dernières années, six écluses différentes sont tombées en panne sur notre porte principale. Cette serrure n'a que 3 mois, mais elle semble être de bien meilleure qualité que les serrures Master que nous avions achetées auparavant. Aucune des écluses précédentes n'a duré plus d'un an dans les éléments, même avec un traitement régulier contre l'eau.

Nachdem mein vorheriges Zahlenschloss von Burgwächter irgendwie beim Hantieren mal selbst die Kombination änderte und auch immer zickig beim öffnen war, bin ich auf das hier mir dem Druckknopf unten und der Schraube oben zur Sicherung der Kombination gestoßen und vollauf zufrieden. Wenn ich wieder eins brauche, dann wird‘s das hier hoffentlich noch zum Kauf geben.
