Rounton Coffee Roasters Two Stories Coffee Beans, Light Roast, 100% Arabica, 1kg

I've been buying Rounton coffee beans for years now, and as a frequent coffee drinker I can highly recommend. All of their beans are great, I've never had a roast I didn't like. They only roast in small batches and you can tell the attention to detail in the flavour. Very smooth and flavourful coffees, this is a true artisanal product which I have seen stocked in some of the food specialist shops in London. The 1kg bags are especially good value, which belies the quality inside! They are also great chaps who will happily let you have a look into the roastery if you stop by at random, like I did once!

I usually enjoy these coffee beans, but I was a bit disappointed to receive a batch roasted in November 2024, arriving in February. Freshness is key to the best flavor, so I’d appreciate beans roasted within a month next time. Looking forward to enjoying your excellent coffee at its peak. Thank you!

This is one of the best coffee I have drunk over many years. Perfectly roasted well balanced taste. Feel fresh. it is pleasure to your taste ..I have tried many different place to get a good beans places like Russia, Norway, South America etc. and over more then 30 years of drinking various types of coffees this come is my number one right now. Gentle on your stomach, acidity is almost none existent but at the same time taste is strong, unique just a tinge sweet, you can taste nuts and toffee..

Love this coffee. Usually buy direct from Rounton....freshly roasted on day of purchase. With Amazon already 2 months old and has lost alot in that time...

This is my absolute favourite coffee for putting in my drip machine. It’s a lighter, fruity and bright coffee so it’s not too heavy to start the day. There’s really complexity when I can be bothered to make it cup by cup in a V60 but even in my carafe drip machine it comes out really well. I’d 100% recommend this if you enjoy a fruity, brighter profile on your coffees, but maybe not for you if you like dark earthy roasts.

We opened the bag for the first time this morning, tipped some beans into our machine and pressed the button ready for our first cup. Unfortunately it’s the worst tasting coffee we have ever had. I’m afraid we won’t be using it and can’t send it back so a complete waste of £24:50 , so unless you want to do the same as us and find out for yourself it’s not nice I would suggest you don’t bother.

Strongly recommended beans

I've tried a LOT of beans from a variety of sources - including some of the more 'artisan' places in London and elsewhere in the country - but none of them can touch this coffee in my opinion. I've tried others in the Rounton range but this is the best by miles for flavour, with a very fruity and rich aftertaste. Thinking about it now, I think I'll order myself another bag!!
