I took a chance on this filter for my Samsung hood since the Samsung ones are out of stock everywhere and have been for some time. This product is an EXACT fit for the Samsung hood too. Exactly the same part as far as I can tell. Cheaper than the Samsung ones too.

I recently moved in the house and start doing the small maintenance this product much better no smoke or smell of food is coming inside the house

I didn't realize the Greasy filters needed to be replaced periodically. After replacing the filters, he suction of the Range Hood is still not satisfactory and I can't tell if its due to the filter or not. After replacing it, I have not noticed any difference in Range Hood Performance either. I just visited a previously "new home" that's about 9 years old and the owner apparently never once replaced the Hood filter - and it still works - so i can't even tell if its worth it to replace the filter... I'll give the product a 4 star, but due to the lack of perceived difference I can only trust that it will prolong the life of the Range Fan...

Very very easy to install, although I would imagine it may vary depending your oven hood. Once installing the new filters, I can say that we tested making pop corn in a pot with oil. Usually, the whole house smells like pop corn after, but with new filters, I couldn't smell pop corn 6 fix away from the stove top. Definitely worth it but be aware that your milage may vary depending on your cooking frequency, what you cook, etc. Don't expect the filters to last you years. Think about how HVAC need new filters every three months... Similarly, you might need new filters every three, six months, etc.

These filters are designed for KitchenAid range hoods. My model # is KVUB600DSS. Easy to remove & replace with the new filters. Not sure when previous owner replaced them, but the old filters were greasy & brown in spots. Ideally should be replaced every 6 months depending on how you cook. I don’t do a lot of frying so it may be a longer time before I replace them.

I'm about to order these filters foe the third time, they should be replaced every 6 months to a year based on your cooking habits. I have no problems with this product or the seller, the filters fit perfectly and work as advertised. I'm not 100% sure that they're a factory part but their performance is solid so that's what matters to me.
