On a recent trip from California to England, we were glad to have this product, and started using it 30 minutes before bedtime 3 days before beginning our trip and then another couple of nights upon reaching our destination. No morning hangover feeling as you might find with using Rx sleep aides, and I believe we were better able to enjoy our vacation to a greater extent, while feeling more alert. Another use for this product, which others might not be aware of came to light in the past year. Our beloved Alaskan_Malamute and Black Lab mix required extensive grooming after vacationing on a ranch and allowed to take walks through lots of sticker and burr territory. Unable to comb out the worst of the tangles, the staff was forced to very closely clip her coat. Husky breeds do not tolerate shaving procedures well at all, plus our sweet pup was 9 years old and we were unaware of a new thyroid deficiency, another reason her once beautiful coat came back in super patchy. Our Vet diagnosed alopecia and the thyroid disorder, put her on appropriate replacement hormone and we did see some slight improvement. We added in salmon oil supplement but it wasn't until the Doctor suggested 5 mg of Melatonin twice a day that we really began to see major hair regrowth. I've included some photos to illustrate. She is a large dog, 72 pounds, and after only 1 month there was a big difference, and after 6 months her fur is more than 95% returned. Please check with your own Vet and do not 'Doctor' your pets-I am sharing this information just to show that Melatonin has more than one usage, although this isn't as well known.

Been a big fan of Nature Made supplements for at least 20 years. This brand of the 5 mg Melatonin does help me to get to sleep within 15 to 20 minutes, but doesn’t keep me to sleep for more than maybe four hours at a time. Wish it kept me to sleep until my alarm went off, which is after about 7 hours. Maybe I need to take 10 mg at a time. I may experiment with that.

So I'm not gonna talk about the product per se because it's a drug and probably any Melatonin tablet on the planet that's not made in some guys Basement will perform the same. I got these as I was having trouble sleeping. I get to bed fine but I wake up in the middle of the night can't get back to sleep. This seems to help. They also don't seem to have any side effects. The dosage works fine. I can't speak to higher or lower dosage, but I'm gonna probably keep taking these. Your mileage may vary. P51.

Melatonin is a sleep aid. Not habit forming as it is a hormone. These Naturaid pills are USP and the price on Amazon was much lower than Target.
