They came out of their box sharp, beautifully made & ready for use! I already put them to work and they cut clean and smooth. It would be a great gift for any woodworker too since the box is sooo nice! Might pick up another set soon!

The chisels come in a nice wooden box with cutouts for each chisel. I use these chisels with a dead blow hammer in order to preserve the life of the handle. They are sharp enough out of the box for rough work, but in reality they should be sharpened before extensive use.For the price, I am very satisfied.

All in all, great product for the price. Handles fit comfortably in my hand with very little fatigue. Nice blade, but on the soft side... had to sharpen once in three weeks of using them sporadically. Clean sharp cuts with blade, nice tool

Used it for timber framing a few 6x6 posts. Worked great just have to be careful not to crush the edges of the wood as you get closer to the taper on the handle. A chisel with a Longer flat shaft would have been ideal but it works fine if you’re careful.
