Hawkins Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Tava 26 cm, 3.5mm Induction Compatible

The product is very good , takes time in heating the stuff parathas, but it is very less oil consuming product. You can make excellent egg Omlette with very less (almost zero butter ). But after using for just 2 days the colour of the surface changed drastically, due to these stains. Please share how to remove these stains without damaging the Surface of the TAWA The problem is with this product is that the STICKER that is pasted on the TAWA and when I removed it, the GUM didn't remove completely and when tried to remove it with the plastic scrubber, it led to many scratches on the place of the TAWA. These scratches spoil the non sticking characteristics of that portion which is a major issue. The manufacturer needs to keep this in mind to not to stick any label on the upper surface as that may be a major blow on the quality of the surface that is the USP of the product. I am facing a great problem as the purpose of this product is defeated due to this label.

It is a good buy and healthy choice Nice wooden handle And real steel Negative points it gets stained and burned But gradually u learn Keep on low flame and clean it with soda and vinegar or lemon. Hawkins is trusted brand

The tawa is terrible. Steel quality is inferior. I just tried to make 2 plain rotis (no oil) on this. It became black / brown and atta stuck on it. Took me a long time to clean residue, but tawa is still black. But the worst thing is that the bottom damaged my new induction cook top. It now has a whitish ring on it. Obviously very inferior quality of material. Can't return even though i'm eligible to as I'm now overseas and won't return until past permissible return date. And cant share pictures as something wrong with the upload option

I was tired of discarding the coated pans every year , so I took up the challenge of making dosa , Uttappam & eggs in stainless steel uncoated tawa. Having used stainless steel cookware for many years now & having mastered the art of following Leidenfrost effect , I took the plunge of buying the tawa. The tawa is heavy & flat & is induction friendly. My recommendation is to use it on medium heat after following Leidenfrost method. I am successful in making dosas, Uttappams & eggs successfully. This should be my purchase which would last long .

Doesn’t work on induction at all ! It doesn’t get heated Rotis were not cooked fully Please don’t buy this for induction

Dosa Pan or Tava what ever you call it. This has to be the best one I have ever used. I use it on a electric stove and keep it medium. It gets warm very quick

Best to use as cooking bread at dinner time

The tawa is becoming black it has black burnt marks on it. Using on my induction stove

Initially I liked the packaging and product of this product. But after 2-3 days of use I realized that this product is not that good. Because it is very expensive and the quality is not that special. I made chapati and bhakari on this tava, chapati is okay, it does not stain that much, but when we make bhakari, this tava turns very black and sticks. And then you have to work hard to remove those stains. It is dishwasher safe but the stains do not come off easily, you have to wash it by scrub. So I will not suggest this product at all.
