⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent quality and modern design. The Empava electric stove has been a great purchase. It heats up quickly and evenly, and the controls are very intuitive and easy to use. The sleek design adds a modern touch to the kitchen, and the surface is very easy to clean. It works perfectly for everyday cooking and offers excellent performance. I definitely recommend it for its efficiency and quality.

Update: Empava required a video showing the problem and sent a new unit. So far so good. Been going for 6+ months. Adding 3 stars. I was initially impressed with the sleek design of the Empava Electric Stove Induction Cooktop—it looks great in the kitchen. However, my experience with it went downhill quickly. The unit worked fine for about 30 days, just long enough to be outside of both Amazon's and Empava's return windows. After that, it stopped functioning altogether, which was extremely frustrating. Even while it was working, there were issues. The touch buttons were finicky and often required multiple attempts to get them to respond. This became annoying, especially when trying to adjust the heat quickly. The fan was also quite loud, making it hard to enjoy a quiet cooking environment. The only positive aspect was that when it worked, the cooktop heated quickly and provided even heat distribution. Unfortunately, these few positives are overshadowed by the poor durability and functionality. I expected much better for the price, and now I'm stuck with a non-functioning unit. Very disappointing!

I've had an error code since I purchased it. The stovetop seems to work fine, so I have no idea why the code is present. I couldn't find anything out on the website that alleviated it.

We love our new stovetop. It does exactly as it should.

Update: It has been 6 weeks since I started begging for help. I still have not received a call yet,, but I keep receiving emails to rewrite my email. That's all Empava cares about. Original post: I purchased a two burner Empava 120v induction cooktop and installed it in late April in my kitchen island. The lights came on when plugged in, but the unit will not heat, and I have had an "E3" error message indicating "voltage supply" is too high. I have been going back and forth with customer service via voicemail, email etc. for literally weeks. They required that I send pictures, videos etc. which I have done, but they won't take the time to call me and trouble shoot the problem with me. Now, they have simply stopped returning my emails, so I guess I'm on my own with no resolution. I have called out the contractor and an electrician who both verified that the voltage in the outlet was correct. We plugged it into several other 120v outlets and the error message persists. Empava does not stand behind their products apparently and will leave you holding the bag. Now I have a useless appliance and a hole in my granite counter top, and no cooktop. I now have to pay $480 to install a different brand of cooktop because i can't get customer support from Empava.. I tried to contact Amazon customer service as they were the "seller", and they cannot be contacted by phone. Every other large firm has figured out how to provide customer service during Covid, why not them. Don't buy Emapava, you will be sorry.

Another review stated that the 12 inch cooktop used 49 watts while off. Not sure what might have been going on there but I used a Kill-a-watt to measure mine and it used between 2 and 3 watts while off. Anyway, I've only had it a month or so but I've been pretty impressed. My main concern was whether it would take a long time to boil a big pot since it's only 120v, but it has been faster than I ever anticipated.

That’s all we need. Two fast plates - dropped into custom cut out kitchen top, plugged into common plug and away u go-making sure u have the right pots and pans. The unit beeps if it’s not compatible.

I got this excited to have a 2-burner unit that plugged into 110v power. Seemed like things were taking forever to cook, so I did the boil test. Used the same pot and same temp water for all tests. Top burner - after 8 minutes on high the water was only at 95C and not at a full boil. Next day, bottom burner on high again after 8 minutes water was only at 90C and not at a full boil. Went back to my single burner countertop unit next day. Plugged into same outlet, same pot, 1 cup of water...and it was 100C and full boil in about 70 seconds. Do NOT buy this if you want to cook anything in a reasonable amount of time.

Takes too long to heat up, even with one burner on... Hopeless with both 😞
