StriVectin Advanced Retinol, Targets Visible Signs of Aging for Healthier Skin

This is a lovely product. I have tried other Retinol creams in the past, and had to give them up because they were so harsh and drying that my skin would peel and look unsightly. I purchased this product based on reviews that it was gentler, and I was not disappointed. I use it every night, and have never experienced any drying or skin irritation. I notice a brightness in my skin, and an evening of redness, an overall smoothness. I have actually been stopped at the grocery store with people complimenting my skin. I'm 33 with five children, and get told often that I look too young to have five children. I know this is due to the fastidious care I owe to my skincare routine, which includes StriVectin Advanced Retinol! The first time I heard of the Strivectin brand was through watching The Today Show. They showcased StriVectin products as a great product for the price. After reading reviews on Amazon, I purchased my first products, and have not been disappointed. As a point of reference, I have very fair skin, and am quite sun sensitive.I have tried over the counter acne products in the past, and could not use even the most mild of them due to drying and irritation. My worst fear with trying Retinol products was that my skin would turn flaky and red. Thankfully, this product has been gentle enough to provide age-fighting results, but has also protected my very delicate skin. While I didn't buy it to treat acne, I have noticed that I have not had any breakouts. This product will my "old reliable" for years to come.

I have tried zillions of products that are supposed to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, including many with retinol. This is the only one that actually works. I wish I had taken before and after photos, but I didn't think this would work any better than the others. I was completely wrong about that. I have been using this for 9 months and got results right away. I have been in daily maintenance for 5 months. I started getting significant wrinkles in the area around my mouth when I turned 60, a year and a half ago. I am so grateful that I finally found this product. It has dramatically alleviated the wrinkles. Every time I look in the mirror, I am stunned by how well it has worked. It's a fairly aggressive product, so it is important to titrate up over time when you start using it. It is also important to rub it into your skin really well. Just wiping it over the skin does not do it.

I read many reviews talking about how hard it is to open and close the tube, and that it causes the cream to spill out of the container. NOT TRUE! I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews that mention this problem... I've had no problem at all since the first time I used it. Not once! I've been using the eye cream for 2 weeks now. It plumps the fine lines under the eyes almost immediately, but it's not really moisturizing. I need to apply the Shiseido Benefiance Eye Cream on top of it after it dries out. Regarding the effects of the retinol and the niacinamide, I'll need to wait at least 3 months to comment on that. Will update the review then, and maybe give an extra star. UPDATE: I've been using the eye cream for 3 months now, not always twice/day as recommended, and even skipping a few days here and there. I can see a pronounced smoothing of fine lines under the eyes, and some improvement of the under eyes bags. So, I am adding 1 star. Still feel that it lacks in the moisturization aspect, but I guess it's good if you wear make up, not my case. No irritation, no burning sensation on the skin or the eyes. The tube has to be kept vertically with the top UP, to not spill when opening/closing.

I've been using this for years. It's great stuff to plump up fine lines and wrinkles. I just wish the tubes were bigger because it does work. It's expensive for what you get though

I do love this face cream great quality I have sensitive skin Scent free which is very important . It is expensive $99.00 1.7 fl oz I use it 2x a day so it does go fast . Also it is SPF 30 another reason why I love it . I love purchasing from Amazon because they do have this on sale from time to time. Thank you Amazon

Have used Strivectin ever since it was sold as a wrinkle cream, I’m 78 and never had cosmetic surgery, and everyone compliments me on how good my skin looks. Love that they added SPF so I wear this version year round and don’t get a tan on my face.

My sister swears by this cream so I decided to order some. For me however, the scent is too strong gave me a headache. Personally, I feel that the price is too high and to me it didn't seem to make any difference for the time that I used it. I ended up giving it to my sister who was thrilled! She loves the moisturizing aspect of this, says it helps with her wrinkles and makes her face soft.

I’ve always loved Strivectin. Great product,never fails ,very light ,doesn’t need a lot of the cream applied,I love it and would definitely recommend it.
