There are a lot of tri-fold wallets out there, but there is one important feature you look for in a tri-fold, which this wallet has, which way do credit card get inserted and withdrawn from the wallet? Most tri-folds insert them from the top, which is wrong. You want to insert them from the inside, where the fold is, that way, when the wallet closes, those cards are locked in place, no matter what. Sure it's unlikely for credit cards to fall out the top, but it happens, and when it does, it sucks. For that reason, you should never get any wallet other than a tri-fold, and you should only get tri-folds that are designed like this one.

This is the only wallet my husband will use. I am glad I can get it here. He used his last one until it fell apart. As another reviewer mentioned, this is the only style of wallet that has the credit card pockets positioned in such a way that the cards are locked in when the wallet is folded and cannot escape out of the top.It's also nice, quality leather, with a nice look and feel to it. It is a quality, basic wallet.

I love this little wallet, small and fits easily in pockets but still functional. Main reason I like this wallet is that it is one of the few trifold wallets with the credit card slots facing sideways, making it less likely to lose cards. Wish it had 2 bill slots instead of one but that's minor. Plus Buxton makes quality products.

Nice wallet, looks even better in person. The leather has a nice brown with darker brown grain. I was looking specifically for the openings of the pockets to be the sideways kind. They seem harder to find and my FIL specifically asked for this as he was unable to find it. It seems to be high quality and comes in a nice cardboard box.

This is my 3rd review! It was for my stepdad and he says it is poor quality and in fact the one from Walmart was better quality.There is nothing else to say and this IS MY LAST REVIEW!

A first class product. I bought this to replace an identical wallet that must have been well over 10 years old. Unlike other products, the quality seems to be as good or better than my old one. I love it.

My kids gave me a Buxton wallet for my 32nd birthday. Im now 52 and am buying its replacement. These are very well made and durable. My original has lasted 20 rough years without losing a stitch. I highly recommend this wallet. When this new one wears out in 20 years I plan to buy another :-)
