I used to love Lucky Charms cereal when I was a kid. Haven't had it in ages since I learned about a little thing called nutrition. This flavor tastes just like it, except healthier. Would be nicer if it was more affordable though.

I’m primarily on a plant-based diet so I need to supplement often to get the extra protein my body needs. I’m not on a strict diet, but strict enough so I need approximately 45 grams of protein each day. One of the ways I supplement is to add whey- or pea-based protein to the yogurt of my choice. We all have preferences and I lean toward pea-based proteins rather than whey. I have friends who adamantly land on one side or the other, but I’m flexible. One friend adores whey protein and pretend barfs over the grittiness of pea. The other friend adores the pea-based protein and uses it daily. To each his own, but taste-wise I do prefer the pea, provided it’s mixed well. This particular protein is whey-based with a bit of a twist. It has those little marshmallow cereal charms often found in cereals. For those who like to cheat and add a bit of sugar to the mix, this is perfect. These little bits do add sugar, but not a lot at only four grams. This, obviously, is offset by 22 grams of protein per serving. If you’re a purist, simply take a pass as there are dyes in those little marshmallow cereal charms. I added a scoop to my yogurt and it mixed very well. I don’t do smoothies, so can’t say there, but I suspect it mixes well. Just a few stirs and it was thoroughly mixed with no gritty chunks. Taste-wise I was satisfied and those little marshmallow bits added a bit of crunch to the experience. It’s the kind of whey protein for anyone with a bit of kid in them who needs the extra protein with the addition of electrolytes and enzymes. Definitely pleased with this product and would recommend it to a variety of people. INGREDIENTS: Whey Protein Isolate, Dehydrated Rainbow Colored Marshmallows (sugar, Corn Syrup, Food Starch-Modified Contains less than 2% of Gelatin, Sodium hexametaphosphate, Artificial Color (Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Yellow 5), Artificial Flavor, Natural Flavor), Natural Flavors, Xanthan Gum, Sucralose, Enzyme Blend (Protease I, Protease II, Amylases, Lipase, and Lactose).

I wanted to find a protein powder that had the same magical charms flavor as 1st Phorms without the price tag of that brand. This one is amazing. There are actual Lucky Charms in there, which I find it kind of weird, but it doesn't bother me much.

Not a fan of the taste it makes me gag. I really thought I would like this flavor but I just can’t stomach it!
