Outward Hound Lil' Snoop Interactive Treat Dispensing Dog Toy, Purple, 3.9"

I know I need to give this toy some time but wow did it keep my 6 month old lab mix busy, engaged, and upset with me when I took it away after an hour of play 🤣 love the minty smell, was easy to wipe and after all of the plastic kids toys that have been chewed in my house the past week this one looks like it might actually withstand a bit longer than I anticipated. Time will tell though. Will come back and update if I feel different in a few weeks 🙂

This has been one of the best dog toy purchases I’ve made to date. We got 2 back in December 2024 the toys are still totally intact. They play with this thing! They get their food/treats in it. We play fetch with it. We play tug-of-war. my dog’s use it like a little security blanket for them, when they get really excited it’s usually one of the toys they go to and pick up and just walk around with. I purchased the biggest one they had and it’s a great size for my yellow and chocolate labs. It’s also really easy to clean which is huge cause I don’t have a dishwasher so being able to easily wash by hand is a must. If they ever breakdown I am definitely going to purchase again.

After a brief introduction my blind foster dog really took to this toy. It's nice and soft, it wobbles and rolls in a fun way, and he can hear and smell the treats at the center but it's just difficult enough for him to get mini biscuits, Cheerios or small bits of kibble out (fortunately they're easy to get into the toy :) He immediately stuck his tongue into it to try to reach the treats, so I'm glad there's a hole at the opposite end for safety like the Kong. One little complaint: they use those plastic clothes tag fasteners to attach their brand tags, and it's difficult to remove those little bits of plastic from the inside once you cut the tags off. They could easily put the tags on the neck to make it much simpler! ETA: my dog is thin-boned, about 40 pounds and he can get his whole lower jaw or a paw into the opening – hasn't gotten stuck yet, but he is vigorously trying to get those treats out, so now that I've noticed this, I will only give him this toy when I can supervise.

First, I looove that I could get this dog toy in my favorite color! The orange color also helps to locate it, if your doggo has rolled it somewhere you don't know. This bowl toy is very durable, safe, and easy to pull open and fill. The only reason I don't give it 5 Stars is because the opening is so big, after it's closed, that unless you have pretty large pieces/treats in it, or jam-pack them in, they easily fall out, when my dog rolls the toy around. What I do, is put a whole Greenie in the bowl and then add treats around it. She's thrilled to have a treat or two spill out, as she rolls the bowl around. But what really keeps her occupied is trying to get to the Greenie. This is where the durability plays such a key role! Our dog is a Pit-Terrier and an extremely aggressive chewer, but the fold in the bowl is so strong that even her attempts to chew through it or claw it out don't work. That said, I would still supervise your dog's play with this. I know, if she really wanted to, our dog could eventually chew through the strong material to get to the Greenie, but thank goodness it's too thick and too wedged in to be worth all that time. The awkward shape of the bowl also makes it hard for her to grip it in her mouth foe chewing. For a dog's quick fun, amusement, and reward, this is a winner!!

Not usually a reviewer of things, but after a year with it I can't complain. I will say you can't just throw kibble or small treats in the hard bones work best. I have the large blue glob i call it. I throw about 7-8 medium size bones and my mastiff spends about 2+ weeks trying to get them all out. If you get the right size for your dog its great they have a hard time getting grip to chew it and have to work to get a treat. what works to get a treat out one time wont work again. Probably not good for aggressive chewwers because it's rubber is not meant for that kind of use. My mastiff is not a heavy chewwer but has tons of anxiety this makes her use the one brain cells she has and wears her out and too tiered to focus on whatever is making her anxious that day.

This is a fun puzzle toy according to My dog! She likes to have something she can carry and toss around, this bounces and makes her even more excited. It's easy to fill and clean, and doesn't make much noise. Her nose fits right in it but it's too big for her to get stuck in (64lbs golden retriever). It keeps her interested and going back for as long as 45 minutes depending on what's inside/how fast things fall out. This is a lazy dog with a moderate food drive, so she takes breaks in the middle of the play session with this before going back again.

The first time I used this with my 9 month old Shepard mix, it was great. We used about 1/3 cup of her kibble and added the Nook to make it harder. It kept her working for 20-30 minutes. However, now that she knows how to remove the Nook, and stick her snout into the opening and lick up the kibble, it lasts about 5 minutes, and is no longer a challenge. She still enjoys playing with this, even when it is empty, and hasn't it destroyed it yet, so for that 3 stars.

My dog Camper is a fan favorite. After each meal he gets a sweet potato chew in his "snoop". He knows what it and will bring to me to fill. It keeps him active trying to retrieve. He is quite a smart one. If he can't get the treat out within a reasonable amount of time he will take to the top of the stairs and throw down to help dislodge. It is of a thick rubber material. He has not been able to chew through or break off any pieces. He can carry in his mouth. After a while it does start to break apart. NOT dishwasher safe. He has both the large and small depending on what size his chews are.

My dog says it all. He loves it and it keeps him busy for quite some time. Even when there’s nothing inside!

Great product! My mini dachshund loves it! And I like that he has to work hard-ish to get paid. Zero complaints.
