Great as a tachometer or TTL for balancing rotors
This unit varies from the PL99. The PL200 has a TTL feature that can provide a signal generated by the laser switching at the point of reflective tape edge. That signal can be processed by a vibration analyzer to use for rotor balancing phase and RPM. I use this device as my backup, and long distance, tachometer for field balancing industrial rotors.
