Petite size makes it the perfect little backyard tree for a Calico Critters house or cottage, plus it won't hog bedroom/display space if you're a kid/collector. The cuteness factor of its dainty size makes it especially appealing to those who love miniatures. It doesn't look like much in pictures but it's actually really adorable in person with delightful attention to detail. I love the wood grain on the floor and the trunk texture on the inside walls, as well as the molded vines and leaves around the windows on the inside. The design detail on the slide/ climbing rope ladder thingie is especially impressive. The little baby sized hammock that suspends from the top of the tree (inside) is just darling. It's also cleverly designed to pop into place and be hard to remove unlike those tippy hammocks in the Lakeside Lodge cabin that used to be easily knocked down every 2 seconds. There is even a little groove in the branch to hold the rope for the swing. My swing came pre-threaded with the rope which I mention because some other Calico Critters toys sometimes have the string separate for you to try figure out how to string. It is easy and fun to assemble: the green leaf canopy slides easily onto the trunk and the branch and hammock pop easily into place, which is added play value as it's a nice sense of achievement for a kid to put it together themselves. It includes a little sticker rug/mat for the upstairs floor so that the little toddler squirrel can take a nap, just like kids in preschool. Because it includes one of the coveted, articulated limb, standing babies I think it's great value for money.

I purchased this item as a birthday gift. I was surprised to see that it comes with a Calico Critter! I appreciate the small size of Calico Critter toys and how charming the critters are. The recipient thought the swing was fun to play with and I was pleased with the quality of the set. Calico Critters are made of soft, realistic material and are each given a name. If you are looking for miniature toys with charming details, Calico Critters are the best.

Cutest little tree house saw it on sale for $8 and had to pick it up <3 the swing is kind of annoying and flimsy but that's okay still worth the purchase!!

If your collecting critters, this is a cute addition

I am an adult collector but im certain any slightly older kid would adore this. Everything about this is adorable and interactive. I wouldn't recommend this to a younger child under 5 due to its tiny parts.

It's incredibly cute, my toddler absolutely loves this set. But it 100% wasn't designed with clumsy kid hands in mind. The swing and slide constantly come off which is pretty obnoxious/impractical during play. I'm probably gonna get super glue and twist ties and just sacrifice some aesthetic for functionality. That said, still incredibly fun and cute, money well spent.

Just like every other calico critter item we own, we are obsessed and impressed. The quality is always incredible and they keep my girls occupied. They are such cute toys!

My grand daughter previously had the larger size Calico Critters animals, furniture, buildings and a car. She asked for the Persian triplet cats. for Christmas. The Ropeway Park was a perfect addition to her collection. I'm anxious to add more items for the smaller animals.
