High functioning

Easy for mom, can be tricky to pair
We installed these so that mom can call for help. One transmitter is velcroed to her bed and one in her bathroom, the receivers are all over the house and in the back yard. She was choking the other night and pushed the doorbell button on her bed, I heard her immediately and came running! Awesome!

Five stars with more quality control.
Unfortunately because of the quality control I had to knock it down to three stars because it really is a 5-star unit. That black wire is the antenna so I think I understand why some people I've been saying the range of 1 button is better than the other, or why some people say the range is nowhere near what's claimed.Fortunately I am a ham radio operator and I know exactly what the problem is... and I can easily take it apart solder an antenna on and have a lot of range.in fact curling that wire up like that is not really conducive for a radio signal, so I'm going to fix the other one too.I've built antennas for ham radio equipment so I think I can get this one covered.But for the average person they would have no idea what's going on.A little more quality control, and this is easily five stars because of volume, ease of installatio,n ease of programming the different ringtones for holidays or cultural preference.It's embarrassing that it took me a few months to figure out.

Definitely a parent hack.
I bought for an easy way to call my kids downstairs. Works amazingly. Each child has their own ring tone and I don't have to yell.

Easy and great sound quality.
I bought these because we had no doorbell and we missed quite a few friends who knocked. It was very simple to set up. With the two receivers we put one on each side of the house and they are just loud enough we haven't missed any visitor. Extremely pleased with this. Would recommend.
