I love Himi paint brushes! They come in the most adorable packaging too, with some kind of fiber floss that just makes it feel that much more fun and high quality to open. Honestly Himi are my favorite paint brushes, now that I think about it. I've ordered them many times when I wear them out and will continue to order them again. I use these for acrylics and for gouache. They work wonderfully for both. They also come clean super easy! However, the white bristles do often stain a bit.

I'm very particular about brushes, and these are really nice. The bristles are flexible yet sturdy enough for the paint, and the handles are short enough to control the brush strokes. They are very easy to clean, and reform the bristles to keep their shape. I also really like the colored handles, they look nice.

HIMI brushes feel solid and well-made. The brushes feature smooth, varnished handles, and the round set proves to be very versatile. You can achieve fine details with the small round point or apply a larger amount of water with the bigger brush (size 12). They offer good value for money. The brushes come in a beautiful box, which makes for a nice presentation and is also practical. I use the box to keep my brushes organized on my desktop. I have no major complaints about the brushes themselves, but I did notice that I prefer brushes with darker bristles. The white bristles tend to retain color, especially with blues, which is a common issue. As a result, I’ve decided to opt for brushes with darker bristles in the future.

I don't typically write reviews, but i had to make a note for this one. Over all, for the price, its a good product. What kind of brush you have as an artist honestly matters very little outside of it’s shape and size being something that fits your use case, and does the brush itself hold enough paint or can it withstand your type of paint without breaking down too fast. Other than those few qualities everything else is purely preference so for 10 bucks having these brushes for my gouache look and feel as nice in my hands as it does makes this a worth it purchase. There is, however, one flaw. The brush itself is held onto the wood by two simple crimp lines, thats it, and mine came in loose. They wiggle on the handle and that can be very annoying. To fix this, i just took a flat head screwdriver and just a small block i had, lined it up with the crimping lines and gave it some love taps all around both of the crimping lines to fully fasten the crimps themselves. Just enough force to have the metal fully seat on the handles’ grooves but not so much as to damage either the handle nor the metal portion of the brush. The brushes are now seated fully on the handle. Other than that, fantastic brushes.

I don’t have much experience as I’m still learning to paint and got the himi gouache paint set. I thought the brushes that came with the set were fine and wanted a few more sizes so ordered this brand again. It does seem like the handles are slightly better quality than the ones that come in the paint set. Bristles stain easily, but that doesn’t bother me at all

Adorable quality brush set with soft bristles and good construction. Bristles do not seem to shed easily, really happy with these cute brushes! The soft pink set is both pretty and functional. Will definitely order more in the future! Using for a gouache painting currently but would work for wider range of paints. Using as a professional level artist. Great price point for all levels!

The brushes are nice, they do not leave brush hairs, they create a nice clean stroke (using acrylic with these and gouache) - Quality for the price point.

I use these for gouache and love them. Theres no loose hairs,they are thick amd well made. I love them so much Im buying myself 3 more sets. One for acrylic,one for oil, and one to put in the time traveler trunk Im making for my new granddaughter. I want her to have a set of my favorite brushes when shes older and wants to paint. ( I know she will. shes mine) Another added bonus of these brushes is the packaging. I try to put the brushes back in it when Im done bc I love the thrill of taking them out of the bird nesty packaging. I cannot wait to buy more himi products. Wow!

Utilizzati con gouache della Himi, funzionano bene. Trattengono la giusta quantità di acqua, si possono usare anche con gli acquerelli.

I have fallen in love with these brushes. I want to buy another set for when I wear these ones out. I bought the pink set with two rounds two filberts and a flat. The filberts have become my favourite brushes! The brushes hold a good amount of water or paint, they give good precise detail and edges etc. They're surprisingly good brushes.

Really great brushes, soft bristles. Really cute handles and if you take care of them will definitely last you a long time. Will buy a second set just to have doubles.

Okay, good value but the round brush has already got lots of splitting so you get what you pay for. The flat brush absorbs a surprising amount of water, so you have to clean it really well between colours. The small filbert is great for washes. I also immediately stained them a nasty green colour, but that's my bad :P
