Waterford Crystal 10th Edition 12 Days of Christmas Champagne Flute, Ten Lords-a-Leaping

These have been a standard gift for my wife for several years and she loves them. Last year was Edition 11 and 12 so I will need to to come up with more ideas. They are beautiful and are perfect for the Champagne cocktails she likes to make each Christmas.

We received 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas Champagne Flutes as a present from a dear friend and my wife and I were that thrilled we started seaching for others in the series. We finally found this one and a second on Amazon so tried to get it to my wife as a Christmas present but failed as finally I had to admit I had purchased both since my wife was still searching herself did not want to double up. The first Flute arrived prior to Christmas as promised so was under the Christmas Tree for her on Christmas morning but the second arrived after Christmas (The delivery service tried their best to have it delivered prior to Christmas given the emails I received from the Delivery Company used by Amazon) both in tact and were well packed against breakage. In all I was very pleased with the purchase and delivery costs. I have rated this 5 stars as it was exactly as described, the only criticism is that the flutes delivered was not made at Waterford in Ireland but in Italy. However since Italy have very good glass producers in their own right was not overly concerned with that minor detail error. Besides I now can't remember if that was indicated in the description for the item so it could have been my error. We now have 5 as I purchased another that was available on Amazon and have since found another that was on sale here in Melbourne post Christmas Sales. My wife has indicated she only wishes to get 6 of the series of 12 so will keep my eye on Amazon for others in the series.

What an exquisite piece of crystal! This completes my 12 days of Christmas Champagne Flutes by Waterford. Beautiful design great craftsmanship. Waterford is now made in different parts of the world, not longer just in Ireland. It would be good to know before ordering where each item is manufactured.

The collection of these Waterford 12 Days of Christmas glasses was started for my daughter years ago and she recently decided she wanted to complete it. This glass came complete with all the things the other glasses have and was in perfect condition.

This is now the second time I've ordered something new from Amazon and received the purchased item in less than new condition. If items are advertised as new they should arrive as such. I have collected these from the beginning and I know the box conditions as well as the charm with the bow doesn't arrive looking like it's been untied and tied again. The pamphlet which comes inside should be crisp not wrinkled. The box itself is completely damaged to the point where it is taped on the corner and the hinge doesn't even close properly. The flute itself arrived with the etching face down which isn't how they arrive and it appears someone forcefully removed the flute at some point to rip the edges where it fits in. I'm very disappointed with my purchase again and would certainly hesitate to order from Amazon for "new" products if they continue to arrive in defective condition. This looks like someone had it in their attic and/or garage and decided to re-sell it. Please see atttached photographs.

This beautiful flute was not packed appropriately and arrived broken. The return policy was great! Recieved a full refund. Unfotunately we were not able to have one for Christmas.

i ordered this item from silver spoon store through amazon web site. i received the item in good condition; however it did not have the presentation box. i contacted amazon who contacted the silver spoon store who answered and said that since it was a discontinued item there was no box available. i had informed them that if no box was available, i did not want the item. they promised to send me a return label which they did. i have sent it back to them by ups. i was disappointed, not so much by amazon or the silver spoon store; just disappointed that i could not get that which i expected. i will continue to use amazon for much of my on line shopping.
