Our Simple Green Cat Stain & Odor Remover uses enzymes that eat odor sources. This is ideal for porous surfaces where with enough time, our deodorizer can break down odor sources where they are located. Whereas with our original formula you would spray, scrub, and rinse, our Cat Stain & Odor Remover would be sprayed, let sit for several hours until the mixture dries.

Would this work on shoes ?

You would normally use Cat Stain & Odor Remover on any surface you want to deodorize. If you are trying to deodorize the interior of a shoe, it may not be effective. We haven't tested it for this type of situation.
