I have used a variety of rice cookers, including affordable Aroma and Tiger cookers, mid-range Zojirushi, and premium Korean brand like Cuckoo. This was my first time to try out the Cuchen brand, so I was a bit unsure. In fact my acquaintance advised me for another Cuckoo. Now after using this rice cooker for 2 months, I absolutely love it.(1) This cooker is still affordable for being a premium rice cooker. With a special deal during the Black Friday sale period, it was even cheaper than Zojirushis. Perhaps it is because this cooker does not offer all the tricky and complicated cooking modes which no one will ever use and which definitely will trigger maintenance issues later on. This cooker is rice-focused, and I think this strategy plays out well.(2) The color (gold rose) is aesthetically pleasing.(3) The inner pot's coating and design are really good. The pot's "dyking" coat is durable and rice never sticks. Its edge-shaped design seems to help the rice steamed thoroughly, evenly, and fast.(4) I know nowadays a lot of well known brands like Cuckoo and Zojirushis are made in China. This is Korean made, which speaks for its build quality.(5) Quality of the cooked rice: I never tried long grain rice with this cooker. As for short grain rice, this cooker produces incredibly delicious rice. The sticky rice mode is the best. I literally emptied a bowl of sticky rice without any soup or side dish. The rice was so juicy, chewy, and sweet. I almost tasted umami.Overall, this is a great product. The only regret I have now is why I did not purchase this cooker five years ago when this model first came out.

We have been through a number of Rice cookers over the years. Our latest rice cooker lasted us about 15 years. We set up this Cuchen 6 cup cooker and went through the manual checking things out and setting the time and language choosing English, Korean, Chinese. We chose Korean. We set the volume to 4 which is the loudest this can go and we have a hard time hearing what is being said which is the only downside to this product. We cooked plain rice which came out perfect. then we cooked some plain rice Nurungji and that came out perfect as well. It has a ton. of other functions and we plan on trying other dishes with this as well. Hopefully this lasts and works as good for years. We do recommend this product it really is a good quality Rice Cooker. This is a 5 star cooker but the Voice Guide is not loud enough to hear so that makes it a 4 star.

I already had a experience Cuchen rice cooker!I'll love to eating sticky rice!I used different brands which is Zojirushi I cooked couple of times nut I don't like it because it doesn't cooked sticky rice!That's why back to Cuchen again!Cuchen brands are number 1 Rice cooker!

I ordered this black & rose champagne color, despite my better judgment, bc I thought it may look nice and interesting and be a different change from the usual black & gray color found on most appliances these days. Well, I should've gone with my original instincts. This color looked awful and stuck out like a sore thumb in my kitchen as it was ugly and didn't match the other appliances. I gave it a chance, hoping the color would grow on me. After a week, I still felt buyer's remorse. I returned it for the regular black & gray color and am very happy with the rice cooker in terms of appearance and performance. I'm giving it a 1 star bc this color is so hideous and whoever decided to make this color option should be fired. I wrote another review on the black & gray model and gave it 5 stars as this rice cooker performs very good.

Really Good Product

It was a good looking product but the rice made was dried little too quick for me...I like moisture and sticky rice for my meals all time!
