This Poultice is EFFECTIVE! And Easy to Use!
I have no issues with this product except maybe for the price, however, you surely get what you pay for with this awesome product! My time-worn granite countertops became a stone patchwork with areas beneath appliances remaining undisturbed and bright while any exposed areas developed a dark patina (aka stains! Ugh). I tried every home diy method and not one made any difference whatsoever. A professional told me the counters would need to be replaced (I'm selling and my budget is not up to that kind of expense). Deflated as I was, I kept searching, and despite some oddly negative reviews mixed among the positive ones, I found this wet poultice to be fairly budget friendly and extremely effective. "Absolutely thrilled" doesn't begin to cover what I feel about the results with Stone Pro's wet poultice. Wow. Thank you for providing this amazing product! It has saved my wallet and my sanity! 😍 I would suggest disappointed reviewers here try the poultice again, and follow the instructions to the letter. Oh! And I found I could stretch the product as I found that at least for my purposes it doesn't take a half-inch thick spread. I put plastic wrap down over a blob of poultice and carefully rolled it out with a rolling pin. (I'd suggest some experience with one first!) I rolled to no more than an 1/8" covering a good section of the counter, and it worked beautifully. I always say follow manufacturer's instructions, but sometimes a little experimentation can yield surprising results. I truly hope this helps someone having problems with stone staining. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you all the best!

Not 100% effective but good enough
It has not removed all of the oil stains but has greatly lightened, especially after we reapplied it, so I would recommend this product.

Stoneworks poultice stained my white granite!
I had a grease stain on my white granite and I followed the instructions to apply the poultice a 1/2 inch wider than the stain and the existing stain didn’t change, but the poultice around the stain was stained yellow and the surface was etched!!! It made it look so much worse I now need to get a company to repolish and live with a larger more nasty looking stain than I started with!!! If I could give the product a negative score I would because it did the opposite of what was promised. I want my money back!! And more!

IT CAN MAKE THE PROBLEM WORST TRY ACETONE BAKING SODA FIRST.
I don't leave reviews often but natural stone is expensive and I'm hoping this helps people in the future. Does this product work Yes it got oil stains out in some spots. THE PROBLEM with this product is some places it doesn't fully evaporate. See my image above. After being disappointed with this product I did even more research and if you haven't tried baking soda and acetone. With the same methods described on this container try that first only if that doesn't work use this product. If this product doesn't come out use acetone and baking soda. You want the mixture to be almost like a runny putty. After using acetone and baking soda you can see my second image the dark spots evaporated. It still has a strange outline I belive it's part of the stone but significantly lighter.

Amazing product
This is an unbelievable product. I used a product called Kaboom on my new installed marble shower. The product turns blue when you spray it but turns white when it is clean. It did say not to use on marble but I did not see this until later. I tried everything to take the blue stain out of my shower floor. Nothing worked ! I saw a review from a stone person that said leave the product on for 5 days. I covered it up with seran wrap and duct taped it on all 4 sides. You can see by the picture the blue stain is totally gone. I would highly recommend this product.

Works but not enough
We had an issue with our house cleaner using some type of tool to clean our granite backsplash. It left 2 vertical black lines on the granite which we could not scrub off. We purchased this to help remove them as it got good reviews. We’ve tried now quite a few times and it has lessened the lines but has not eliminated them as much as we’d hoped. I wish there was another product that could remove the rest of the lines as they look awful on our beautiful granite.

Works!
I found this product via a Reddit post on removing oil stains from granite countertops. At first I was a little hesitant because of the price and the negative reviews, but the developer has a really great YouTube channel and seems pretty passionate about his work. I have only done a small portion of my counter so far, but I’m really pleased with the results, I did follow the directions thoroughly, and the process is a time, commitment, but I don’t know any other way to get such effective results. The product does have a strong, chemical odor, but it was tolerable by opening a window nearby when applying it and also when removing the film after the first 24 hours. I could see the best results until about 24 hours after I removed the product and the counters had an opportunity to fully dry. I have repurchased so that I can do the rest of my counters, and I look forward to the finished result.

Oil remover
Used it twice as directed on label and it didn't work. The oil stains are still there.
