Purchased the Panasonic DECT 6 telephone set to replace an aging Panasonic system. The new system has performed flawlessly in the month since we received it. Love the one-button caller blocking button. Voice reception is clear and perfect, and none of those we’ve talked to on the system have indicated any problem whatsoever in our voice quality. The system works great with our VOIP landline and connecting to our two cell phone lines. Caller ID and text message sender identification are clear and immediate. A perfect telephone system with 5 handsets, 3000 number phone directory capability, and 250 number caller blocking. We fully expect this quality system to serve us long and well, just as it’s predecessor did.

Does what it's supposed to do. Nice to be able to answer your Cell Phone using an extension handset anywhere in the house. Uses standard AAA rechargeable batteries which is a big plus. Will alert you when a text message comes in but will not read it which is fine; at least you know it's there. Has a silent mode so you can set it when you don't want to be disturbed. The intercom works well and allows you to contact someone in another part of the house and transfer the call.

These are great phones, as most of the Panasonics are but I am very disappointed with the standby time which is about 48 hours for these dual standard AAA rechargeable batteries the device uses. The Panasonic models with the block-size batteries do last a lot longer on standby, as I have owned many models of Panasonics. (I always have upgraded due to wanting more features like talking callerID, as the phones themselves seldom fail other than needing new batteries about every 3 years.) So if battery standby time is a concern, this model would be my last choice in the line of Panasonics or any phone actually that uses just 2 AAA batteries as a power source. Actually there is one more important thing about this model phone and that is the seller here was simply drop-shipping these from one of the two major US "wholesale clubs" (don't think I can state the name but it starts with a "C") where i have a membership but didn't take the time to price-check and see online where the phone was $40 less with my membership buying directly from my club membership. My mistake I know but I bought several of these and there was a significant price hit by eating $40 on each one so I returned them without opening the box once I saw it was being drop-shipped from my "C" warehouse. I don't think this type of activity should be permitted but I suppose if you are like me and don't take the proper time to shop around, it's easy to get stung.

I like the look of them, they don’t take up much space. You can wipe or clea n them off without damaging them. It has speaker phone, flash button and call block. They last for many years. I buy it with 5 phones. For the Kitchen, bedroom, tv room, family room and basement.

Have not used lock feature but will soon. It has great speaker volume and clarity. The Panasonic quality makes these phones worth every penny.

It tells you who is calling with verbiage. This is great as now I can ignore answering from anywhere in the house prank and or solicitors from wasting my time getting up and answering them. Only people I know are the phonecalls I answer. Hands free answering available and Bluetooth also to connect to my cellphone. Large number storage in phone book on phone for remembering phone numbers. You can select aggravating calls to block also. Can use it as an intercom and a baby monitor to listen in on the kids.

I bought this set of phones to replace an old set of Panasonic phones with the same features. I should have believed a review which commented that the sound quality is scratchy. The dial tone is so bad it's annoying every time I pick up. The old set was better. I've had them a couple of months, regret this purchase.

I have been a long time Panasonic customer, so I bought this phone when my old Panasonic died. This thing is obviously Chinese junk., When using a handset away from the charger, the phone constantly says "Power Outage" and says I must re-connect the main base unit - which is always securely connected to the electric outlet. This thing has so many useless features that the battery will only last a maximum of 24 hours. The hands free speaker is so "tinny" sounding it is also useless. One of the old features I really enjoyed was the flashing light on top of each hand set when I received a voice mail. Now I never know unless I specifically look at the screen. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE.
