Does anyone else find it ironic that this bed has light up headlights when the real Lightning McQueen just has stickers?

Actually this is modeled after cars2 and In cars2 lightning does get headlights.

So we bought this and put it together and have the toddler mattress on the floor. How do we cover the plastic sidings on the inside of the bed?

Actually your Toddler bed should not be on the floor their are parts for assembling the bed of the floor. Their is the wooden like platform that slides in after the the toddler mattress support holders have been installed. You might need two mattress to keep the bed lifted a little higher if you prefer.
