Large Breed Adult Dry Dog Food, Lamb Meal & Rice, 40lb

My older dog has been on Diamond Naturals Skin and Coat Salmon dog food for a few years, so when I got my puppy, I put him on their puppy large breed food and have not been disappointed. The couple that I adopted him from had him on OriGen which is a super high end very expensive dog food. He transitioned well to the puppy food and I am now transitioning him to this large breed adult dog food. He seems to really like this one as well. It definitely fills him up quicker than the puppy food. The pieces are about twice the size of the puppy food but being 90lbs, he has no problem eating it. I appreciate this brand for the decent ingredients for an economical price and have it on repeat delivery.

This kibble is by far the best for my 13 yr old male lab/hound mix. It seems not to be available @ the local retail pet or feed stores here in our very small community so I was very happy to find it on Amazon. This is my 2nd order of this 40lb bag which has been delivered to my local post office, safe & sound & always as promised. After approx. 3 months my dear Max has a shiny, healthy skin & coat. He has slimmed down to a healthy weight & @ 13 yrs young he can keep up playing & "boxing" with the neighbors 3 yr old female pit bull- much to her loving companions surprise & mine. I changed nothing else in his diet during this time & therefore can only attribute it to the change over to this food. I tried many of the more expensive, organic, grain free popular kibbles available in retail stores & feed stores, so I researched over a period of approx. 1 year. He likes the lamb version more than chicken, beef or salmon. I had to have him cared for one day by extended family members who also have 2 elder dogs. Apparently they snuck a taste of this kibble out of Max's bowl & next I got a call from them asking what this kibble was called & where to get it cause their dogs seemed to love it. I am obviously pleased with the outcome. As a senior citizen whose human children are grown - my pooch - along with my 17 yr young kitty, Boots, are my huge responsibility I take very seriously. I try to give them the best for their (& my) health & happiness. I encourage anyone to test this food out & hope for the great results for you that I & others have noticed in my Max. I have a 5yr. old white German shepherd. She has very sensitive skin and stomach problems. She also HAD a joint problem in her right back leg. She was on Iams with lamb and rice. It did solve her stomach and skin problems. It didn't help with joint her problem. Ì bought this food specifically because it is for large dogs. She doesn't limp at all anymore. She also doesn't scratch, vomit or have diarrhea unless she eats anything besides this dog food. We also have a 10yr. old jack Russel that HAD problems walking due to arthritis and obesity. He is now RUNNING when he goes outside!!! Both of them love the flavor of this dog food!!! I love having this 40 lb. bag auto shipped to my door every month!!! Ì won't feed my fur babies anything else!!!

My Great Dane loves this food, I’ve yet to open a moldy bag but the issue about this one is that I went to order more and it would take 6 days to deliver even with Prime.. So I had to find another line for the time being.. Which will cause my pup to have diarrhea yet again.. Other than that it’s great, no complaints.

I have 2 different age dogs, I mix these 50/50 & they love it. I hope I'm doing them better than regular store food. I don't buy them colored food since they can't see it and die can be bad for them. Jonesy NW Arizona

Food is excellent , my Great Dane loves it . The down side is the price , way out of line , I found a supplier here in Ontario, that is almost half the price here on Amazon
