Flexible, well-designed, portable, good value ... it works!
This laptop stand works incredibly well for me. The value in protecting my wrists from injury is truly priceless. It is well-designed, sturdy, portable, convenient and flexible (multiple ways to configure it to fit different situations). Of all the "ergo" products I've ever purchased, this gave me the most "bang for the buck" out of all of them. Useful on: airplanes, commuter bus, cafe, conference table and at my non-ergo desk at home and even my favorite comfy chair.

Unique product
I use this on my desk with my laptop. It puts the computer at the perfect angle for typing. This thing is well made and easy to assemble and disassemble.

A Wonderfully Simple and Very Effective Stand
Three simple pieces of thick plastic that go together like "Lincoln Logs," but super stable. I previously tried an Amazon Basics stand but was not happy with its stability. I am not using it for a laptop, but rather a control surface (Behringer BCR2000) in my home audio studio. The dimensions of the control surface are similar to a laptop and it is probably a little heavier that most laptops. I was happy to see generous strips of rubber on the tops and bottoms of the stand. They keep it in place on the desk and also keep the control surface from sliding around on the stand. 100% recommended!

works soooooo perfect. super solid with my 17.3 inch hp envy. this plastic is of a quality so high. i thought it was metal. perfectly straight, aligned and solid. sits at the perfect angle and height. i tried three types and returned the other two immediately after i tried this one. they were cheap so i was going to keep them but this thing spoiled me.

Too heavy, does not improve ergonomics for me
Bought this since I was carrying a 15 inch laptop on planes, which was heating to uncomfortable levels after a short time. I boughtthis stand, hoping to keep the laptop cool, and make it easier to type. I care about ergonomics, as I used to suffer from Carpal Tunnel syndrome. The three-piece construct is easy to put together, and is sturdy, but it fails in all other parameters - it's quite heavy, and working with the laptop on it was not comfortable. Perhaps it takes some getting used to, but the weight didn't justify carrying this around. If you like working with a laptop stand, then it's probably a fine product. I feel much better off without it.

loved traveling with it
We broke the bit that allows you to connect pieces for easy carting before using it. We did like the product on our vacation. I have not used it at home yet. I did think I would use it more at home but just have not yet. It is very light.

It's just what I needed
I have near constant severe neck and shoulder pain on my left side. I don't know why and can't claim that this simple yet ingenious invention has cured me but it certainly makes my time at the computer a lot easier. I put my 13" Macbook (an old white one) in the stand and slide it towards me until the notches on the bottom of the stand settle on to the edge of my table. Now my keyboard is close and at a comfortable angle and my display is higher so I don't have to look down. I like how the grippy tread is only in the notches so it's easy to slide into place and then firmly seated once the notches engage with the table edge. When not in use it slides back out of the way. I don't travel but the stand consists of three parts that simply fit into each other and would be so easy to pack and transport. I'm so glad I picked this one.

kenamics good if notebook computer and work surface square edged
The Kenamics Aviator Travel Laptop Stand works well with a notebook computer having a squared-off front edge. A Mac Book Pro is fine, for instance. An HP Pavilion PC has a front edge that is beveled back toward its bottom, so the stand does not hold the notebook as tightly. This might be a problem if used on a bumpy flight rather than just on a desk. I will try to rig something to fill in the gap, perhaps with a piece of vinyl tubing to provide a better grip. Otherwise, just be a bit gentle with the typing. The device is designed so the front parts of the supports hang over the edge of a work surface (the bottom notch shown in the picture separates the section on the surface from the front segment that hangs over the surface edge). It not very useful if you try to put the entire stand on a flat surface: the keyboard then lies almost flat. When used properly, the angle of the keyboard worked well for me. If you want a steeper angle or do not want to work with the computer hanging over the edge, go to another brand where the angle can be adjusted.
