For the price these were great for walking along a pebbley beach, light and comfortable to wear on ur feet. You couldn’t rock climb u wud feel it cos theyr not thick but ok on a beach and im a size 6.5 so bought UK 7, a perfect fit for me and no blisters .

My partner and I needed a pair of water shoes each for our holiday to Jamaica, and after reading around, decided on a pair of these. I bought the womens for my partner and the mens for myself. On reading other reviews, general advice was to size down despite the "fit" showing as true to size by majority vote. It was either that or go by the actual "length" measurements...My partner is a 7 in almost everything, and she sized down to a 6 on general advice. Hers were initially too tight, so she needed a 7 in the end, which fit her perfectly.I'm a size 8 in trainers, 8 in "most" shoes, 7 in some shoes, and 7 in most Skechers. In order to get a size that fit me close enough, I had to drop down to a size 6 in the mans water shoe. I initially tried a 7 and they were like boats on me. Even the 6 is slightly too large in all dimensions, but it's the smallest mans size they had. I added a better insole with more padding and shape, and that with the toggle meant they fit pretty snug.With next day delivery and free returns, it's not too much of an issue, but is a bit of a hassle. Do yourself a favour, measure both feet, take the largest measurement, and go with whatever is closest to their measurement chart. If slap bang in the middle, size up as you can always tighten them with the toggle. Ignore the UK sizes because being made in China, Quality Control isn't always top of the agenda.

Exactly as described by the seller. Comfortable and practical. Fit well and there is an adjustable toggke cord to tighten them so they won't fall off your feet. Slip resistant sole.

They do the job and they look good, but the sole comes out when you remove the shoe, and it moves while wearing it too.

I bought these as I was going on holiday to Zanzibar and had read that it was advised to bring water shoes. They fit perfectly, but also have an adjustable toggle on the back to make them tighter and more secure on my feet (which was needed when walking through boggy sand!). They were really light weight and didn't take up much space in my bag. They have a mesh top, so obviously aren't waterproof or keep out little stones, but I didn't expect that as they are water shoes and it does say they are mesh, however, I didn't find this an issue at all. I didn't find much sand got into them at all anyway, and my boyfriend also had a different pair of water shoes which let in sand, so these shoes were normal in my opinion. I really like them and they were definitely needed for Zanzibar as there were a lot of sharp rocks to walk over, which I did and didn't feel any pain on my feet!

I read the reviews and brought the size smaller which fits me perfectly (I am slightly between sizes normally). There is a toggle at the back which can help with fit. The shoes are light weight with good grip. I've used them along a pebbly beach and in the sea. They do let in some stones but are comfortable and practical over all terrains. I do understand what people have said about the insoles, they are not attached and so would be easy to use. They take about a day to dry - depending where you put them!
