When I had my second bout of breast cancer, my radiation oncologist recommended I take Wisconsin ginseng -- no other would do. I found Schumacher's online and haven't looked back. It gave me incredible energy. Never felt tired through all 30 of my radiation treatments. I rely on it now, even though the treatments ended last year. A friend tried another brand and was very disappointed. In comparing the bottles, I noticed that hers contained Chinese, Korean, and Siberian ginseng, along with B12 and Royal Jelly. No wonder she wasn't seeing any results. Nothing but Wisconsin will do and Schumacher's is the best.

As soon as I opened the bottle I could smell fresh ginseng! I usually purchase ILHWA elixir ginseng, which I love, but I thought I would try Schumacher this time. I've had their tea in the past & think it's excellent quality, but I think they spend far too much in their packaging, making the tea all the more expensive. I'm not one for over the top packaging unless I'm gift wrapping & even then I'm very conscious of cost & waste so I just couldn't justify re-ordering the tea.As for the capsules, I have to take the suggested 4 capsules in order to get the desired effect, when compared to HALF the recommended dose of the ILHWA elixir. The elixir is a little more potent in my opinion. But because of cost, in the future I'll order both the ILHWA elixir & the Schumacher capsules to get the results I'm looking for. Halving the dose of each will cost less & last twice as long with the same results, I guess we'll see!

With most supplements I do my research, enjoy the product, sometimes changing up the brand. I rarely see a lot of difference but know I'm taking the best out there. I've taken ginseng off and on for a while, and was running out so I bought 2 top-rated brands, this being one. I've read a lot about Wisconsin Ginseng and heard it was exceptional I can't tell you why google it yourself. When I opened this Schumacher's bottle, the intense smell of the ginseng emanated immediately. It reminded me of when I was a kid, of the wooden shed at our cabin when we reopened it in the spring. That's a good thing. I take these mostly for the adaptogenic properties, but I swear I felt that "well being" and clarity more so than with the other stuff I've taken ... Pretty sure it's more than the nostalgia kicking in. I doubt I'll waste my time on any other Ginseng after experiencing that incredible freshness, and am happy to have found this.

I purchased ginseng from your company on the recommendation of a friend who's doctor had suggested she try it to increase her energy level. The doc was adamant that it be ginseng grown in WI. I am an older woman with significant health issues...sometimes it seems I have everything, it seems, but energy. :-) I'm taking it 2x/day and my experience is that on the 4th day I began to definitely feel an improvement in my energy. So ... I'm a happy customer who will stick with your product and hope I continue to feel more energetic--it's a real improvement!A final note...Amazon came through as always: on time, well priced and perfectly packaged.

Ok, I've been using Buddha Herbs 100mg capsules for the past year. I thought I would try these as they seem of decent quality. Not anywhere near the quality. I get no benefit from these. From the other one with only 100mg, I had more energy and a noticeable boost in my ability to concentrate.I wouldn't believe half of the reviews in here, because they are paid.

I've been taking this brand of Ginseng for just over two weeks and I love it!! I have more energy, alertness, and mental clarity!! Before I was taking this I felt sluggish throughout the day and now that feeling is completely gone! Also this has totally gotten rid of my pre-menopausal symptoms!! I read somewhere that it can help with that, but didn't believe it until now, I feel great!!

The outer seal and inner seal (with the cotton ball exposed) were both broken upon arrival. It seems like too much trouble to return it for the $20 ish purchase price.
