Perfect scale for its size
I purchased two of these - one in SAE one in metric - and the metric one has definitely been the better choice. I used these for personal use and both are high quality and very useful for taking photos of things where I need to communicate the dimensions -- for example, sending a photo to the vet of sore on our dog's leg. For things smaller than 1" (and for things medical, where metric is preferred), the metric scale is easier to see the x- and y-dimensions. Mine have held up well for quite some time, though I could imagine that the lettering might scrape off given enough abuse. I really like these.

Accurate way to Scale Photos
Great to add to photos of surgical wounds to document healing over time. Easily wiped down to keep clean. Writing stayed on so far. Dr. was impressed to have photos with scale to see progress.

Previous review was unflattering to say the least, however, having now had a chance to take this item to work and put it through various tests, I will now note that it is a workable item and am revising my review to reflect that. I will also revise my review of the seller if I ever find it.

Good for scientific photos
It’s a 10cm bar there’s not much more to it. Works well for pictures

Great for Botanists!
These might be for crime scene investigation, but I use them to help me catalog and identify different plant species. They're perfect little rulers to carry in a field notebook, and they allow you to easy get a sense of scale in your photos.

I use these for work to take scaled photos. The plastic is durable and matte wnough to avoid glare.

They work great and are actually very durable in the field. The first time I used was in the rain and and the dirt wiped right off.

It's cheap cardboard! Not even cheap plastic!
This is just a piece of cardboard. It is not plastic. It is total garbage for the price! What a scam! It even describes itself as being made of laminated plastic, but that is completely incorrect. Flimsy paper. I would be embarrassed to use this toy.
