Kathmandu Hybrid 32L Trolley - 32LTR

Works well going from floor to back in a very crowded city. This is not meant for having on your back for long periods of time but moving from airports to trains and on and off public transport it works very well.

I was looking forward to the new Kathmandu bag on my trip to Sri Lanka and Philippines as I had a mixture of flights and bus trips. This is the most uncomfortable backpack I’ve bought. The longest I walked with it on my back was 500 metres and I had to stop. It’s awkward, the shoulder straps also dig in. A complete waste of money. It’s too big for a 5 week trip that I’ve just completed an I definitely would not recommend it on long trips or hiking. I’m a reasonably fit guy who weights 85kg just to put into perspective. I wouldn’t pay £100 for this bag. Its more a long haul flight type bag that has added some straps to make it a backpack. False advertising by Kathmandu on this one

I’ve loved using mine across Thailand and Malaysia- to be fair I’ve not done huge distances carrying it on my back and wouldn’t recommend carrying a set of wheels in a major hike anyway, but it’s comfy enough for stairs and jetties and rough tracks, most other places you can use the wheels. Even found I could D clip a day pack in the front for the airport- perfect!
